i really recommend the studder tape on vocals and or mix bus. it really is my favorite saturation plugin, it adds life to almost anything. try the "make it pop" preset on ur mix bus
Ur the fucking goat brotha, found ur channel few days ago and ur already my go to for all music related questions I have. Not sure if you’ve made any vids on how to record vocals from start to finish in fl? If not you definitely should 🙏🏼
i'm not using the console and if you want to use autotune in the console you have to buy the UAD autotune not the autotune subscription those are 2 different plugins
Nice man I'm an artist that records with earphones and sometimes I procrastinate my recordings cos of the earphone Can you record on bandlab with your earphones to give me more confidence Thanks man
Nah but it’s preference based cuz I’m coming from an industry studio perspective where you gotta be able to work fast so the drag and drop punch in method is way faster when ppl are punching in and that’s how I’ve always done it that way
I have the dsp of the other lexicon so imma have to fw this one. I fw the API a lil more than the neve but it’ll probably go both ways for me & I still gotta fw the LA 2A
I spent like 3,000 dollars on UAD plugins over the years lol and only had 2 dsp of power too run it in console lol cant wait till they put more plugins in the bundle monthly
@@SKYJORDXN i got the tube tech 🌊 super smooth sound with the neve 1076 i add a manley compressor with those two and it sounds magical wit the autotune too bruhh 🍾 Much Luvv from San Francisco California
@@kingyasofficial the UAD apollo interfaces have an internal card that makes it so nothing lags when recording. Live auto tune, reverb, compression. These spark plugins don’t use the internal card (anyone can use them)
@@SoundConstraints i know that but what im saying is why would a native plugin lag while recording on a low buffer and its on a aux track and not the actual vocal track
It’s hella hard to clip in a digi domain long as it’s not bad distortion. Fyi some distort coloration cap helpful in sound design however.. Good Mix Tho👍🏾

You know what the vibe be

What's the best DAW to you logic pro or pro tools what's easier. I'm just getting started tryna record my own music
Logic
Not gon lie got a question off topic but is is better to jus have a record track and drag and drop then going between both tracks ?

Which one of the daws is your preference
Pro Tools
Ableton
FL
Logic
Studio One
Far as computer
What’s the name of that daw I forget 😰 thx
Pro Tools
bro this song is jumpy!!! lol 🔥🔥
yo btw your computer don't be fucking up recording with plugins? what buffer size you using gang?
Appreciate it and 512..and nah it don’t be messing up unless I’m screen recording in 4K cuz that’s taxing on my computer
Bro I swear you sound like Lil baby on gaawd 🔥🔥
Do you need a ilok for the plugins
Yeah
But they do a cloud one so you don’t have to have the usb one
UA No iLok/SSL Yes iLok.

@@SKYJORDXN the plug-in tube tech ain’t nothing like the real one. The Distressor is more accurate to the real one though.

I can add that to my list fr
Fl not made for mixing like pro tools tbh
Can we get a template
i need some of these beats you use 😤

I need the whole song 😭
Can do a video on loud vocals ? I low key scream when I record
how does one “lowkey” scream? lol.
Can I see an example of a raw vocal take ?

How much latency do the plugins create now... with the dsp versions it's always 2000 samples.
It’s no latency from what’ve experienced but it also depends on how many of these plugins your computer can handle like waves , Slate etc..
@@SKYJORDXN im surprised you were able to record through that reverb with no lag tbh. That's one of the most DSP hungry ones they have.

Don’t clip mane
My vocals aren’t clipping tho lol and if I’m tracking it doesn’t matter. That’s what’s gain staging is for when mixing
