It's nice to see other network engines being featured around! All you see when you search for multiplayer tutorials or understanding the logic behind multiplayer is "oh, just install photon, and add this and that to the player object, and it will do it for you". We need more of these tutorials explaining how it works behind the scenes, and why are things done the way they are... So keep up the good work!

As someone with experience in software development, that was an absolutely fantastic introduction to game dev networking. The folks developing mirror definitely worked wonders with the naming conventions and the intuitive interfaces, and Dino made and awesome showcase of it's basics. All that's left is to be thankful that this video exists :P

Pretty sure you don't have to build the game in order for this to work, you could just open another instance of your project and join from there. (If your scene is large it may take long time to build and test these changes with your live build if you were to make any changes and wanted to see them update right away.

    Thanks for the tutorial.
As you said at the beginning the video, if you could do a video about > Dedicated servers < it would be awesome.
P2p networking is already so much covered on TH-cam.
And is good for testing on a little scale but maybe not so "realistic" as soon as you want to release/publish a Game.
By the way thanks for your content about DOT as well, I like the examples you take. Because these are actual examples for games and not only to show-off that DOT/ECS can handle 100 000 entities that just walk in one direction but you offer actual core game mechanics :-)

Before I jump into learning Mirror, does it only support LAN multiplayer as visible in this tutorial?

Hello Dapper Dino! I don't have much experience with visual studio, so I have a question regarding that. How are you able to see the references and implementations of the functions inside the base NetworkManager class? I'm using Visual Studio Code, but I can't access none of that information. If I hover my mouse over the function, nothing appears. This might be a silly noob question, but could you help me out?

Is there any tutorial on how to integrate a mirror on a real vps or cloud? I think to develop multiplayer android game, so I'm little bit confused about all game architecture. Any suggestion?

So Mirror is a different thing from Unity HLAPI and LLAPI and the new Network-transport Layer? Which is the best? I know it is a relative term and depends on what you are making, but I always try to use the default code and avoid 3rd party code as it tends to change or lose support. Would you make a video on the new Network-transport Layer, please?
