one of your best eps to date...you guys know how to capture real emotion, beautiful shots, loved the drone shot as you reached summit...keep inspiring people to do the same.
I got tears when you saw snow for the first time......I was 29 and pregnant when I first saw snow....the joys of being from WA. Proud of you both for conquering that mountain.
Was such an unexpected moment! We said to each other this is probably so normal for some people watching but it's so foreign being from Perth 😆 Thanks for watching Heather!
OMG what an amazing video. I am a Tasmanian away from home for the past year and you brought tears to my eyes. I return home mid 2023 with a renewed appreciation for my home state.
Me and my wife love watching your channel. This one is possibly our favourite. Imagine looking back on all these wonderful memories in years to come. Thankyou for sharing. Jack, how on earth are you going to get a better proposal moment than that? 😂❤️
Loved the excitement and enthusiasm in your video. Well done guys - you've ticked off a walk that many locals haven't done. The ocean you thought you saw wasn't the ocean it was environmental haze. Also the rope you mentioned was removed for safety as it was anchored to a small tree and tempted people to rely on it rather than picking their way down using good hand and footholds. Never rely on vegetation on rocks - it is rarely deep rooted and easily pulls away. Frequently backwards can be the best option on descent.
Bloody good trek, Kelly Basin on a good day is really nice, Montezuma falls is a must while your on the West Coast and then all the little treks on the way to Hobart from Queenstown. If you get the chance to do an overnighter, Frenchmans Cap is epic.
Best ep ever!! Brought tears to my eyes when you reached the summit. And, yes, as I watched, I was thinking of the extra effort you must have made to film some of those shots. Had a great laugh with some of the outtakes.
We watched this on Sunday and loved it. I even recommended it to a friend and tagged it as a "feel good" video. I can't believe it didn't rate well. Just ridiculous. Not only was the footage great but the sense of achievement and the emotion you managed to exhibit was a joy. We have just watched the "thank you" video and I'd like to thank you two for the pleasure you bring. Great job.
That intro of Jack getting ready after the prologue gave such epic movie vibes! = Megan's editing is god-tier! What an insane video to make and yes, you guys are now extremely experienced hikers. @10:07 - @10:21 what a shot!! That looks actually unreal! You managed to capture just how high and steep that place is. SERIOUSLY thought that you were about to propose at the summit. The suspense! I just gotta throw it out there; the last "blooper" though! 🥲I think I speak for everyone when I say that Jack, you are 100% without a doubt an absolute, deadset total legend.
Hi guys, what a fantastic climb, you should be very proud of yourselves, fantastic views, outstanding photography under trying conditions. Once again you both show such enthusiasm and passion for what you're doing and seeing. Great video, can't wait for the next, stay safe and well. Smokey
Jack: "...almost sounds like a proposal doesn't it...", "...sorry I'm not proposing". Too funny. 🤣 You two always crack me up. Congratulations in reaching the top. The views were magnificent. Plus I usually look how Jack looked like (in your bloopers) walking back to the car after each loooong hikes. 😁
What a wonderful Vlog. Great hike, great photography, and you two sharing your love of the outdoors and each other. Infectious joy in this Vlog. Deserve a great more views than what you get sometimes!
Hello Megan and Jack, your video of Mt Murchison is wonderful, amazingly beautiful views, I am 83 and live in Tasmania, I did a lot of Tassie mountain walks when I was younger, I am so pleased that I did, your photography is so good, it makes me feel like I am out there again, thank you, kate ann
Megan's reaction when seeing snow for the first time was hilarious. 😁😁 You two are funny. Good work in reaching the top. 👏👏 I can totally relate how you felt during your hike. I often wonder why the heck am I doing the hike, while on steep hikes like you've done. But more often than not, the end goal, and the wonderful views experienced, is worth every step. Plus the big euphoric feeling from all the endorphins generated inside our bodies upon completing the hike is sensational. Thank you endorphins 😁
Thanks for watching hammer!! Such an amazing day and your not wrong when you mention the endorphins 😂 they were pumping that day. Was so worth all the pain when we reached the top just incredible hey!
How can people not be watching this episode!!! it is by far one of our favourites. Camera work is amazing guys keep bringing the content to us we watch every week.
One word. Monumental. I really thought no way near the beginning. I suspect Meghan is about my height so all that rockhopping and reaching for footholds is next level. Good on both of you. A real team effort!!
That was THE most EPIC hike and video. Thanks for taking us along and making us feel every bit of excitement alongside you. You guys are so reforesting, always real and so positive!

Great episode guys, felt like I was with you on the hike, such an massive climb, congratulations 🎉 that spot in the opening was next level spectacular, Tasmania is so beautiful and should be on peoples bucket list, hard to top this episode guys ❤
Absolutely loved this video. The excitement you both showed was so real and genuine. The footage was amazing and so well done. We particularly loved Jacks almost, sort of proposal. So cute. Keep going guys, we love you and think you are two very special people.
Yay thank for taking us with you!! I know my 60 year old shaking legs with a mind that goes dizzy standing on a ladder would never be able to do that hike !!
So proud of you both. I love that you had the courage to keep going and make it all the way to the top! It's such an incredible feeling isn't it. I hope this is the gateway to many more hikes that you will share with us. Next up will be a hike and camp? :) YAY Love your videos so much!
What an amazing video. You got the perfect day for it. The best views ever. Well done to you both for achieving that climb. Definitely something you won't forget
Congratulations guys - by far - Your best video ever 👏👏👏 You’re a gutsy pair of wonderful people 🤗🤗 Hats off for completing such a difficult climb. No wonder you’re the BEST 👍❤
Great video guys love the way you have stayed true to yourselves and have not followed the trend of over commercialising yourselves. We are planning a 6 month trip on the road and your tips and experiences are invaluable.
I only came across you two a few weeks ago but this one was such a pleasure to watch, & yes it was the perfect spot to propose 😉😂 you are such a lovely couple. It’s such a shame you couldn’t stay in tassie longer. Looking forward to your next video 😊
I live here and I love this video it was fun to watch well filmed highlights our state and makes me so excited to get out and film better on my own channel … so inspiring
Wow, so happy for you both, one of your very best episodes. I once climbed to the peak of Bluff Knoll (probably not as high) but felt great satisfaction reaching the peak. Now with two small kids we can't attempt such walks so thank you for taking us there via your Go Pro.
Great video guys, I've climbed Mt Murchison myself and its absolutely worth doing. Lake Rosebery's a great spot to camp, hope you get to enjoy some more of our western wilds of Tassie.
We enjoyed it guys! You two are one of our favorite couples to watch on TH-cam. Would LOVE to tour the Australian Outback in a 76 series Land Cruiser. (The 70 series isn't offered in the States.) Thank you for sharing with us!!!!
Great vid, we love your series! Looks like an amazing hike which we’ve added to list of to dos. Quick question though - how long did it take you in the end?
OMG I got vertigo just watching you so thanks for bringing us such amazing scenery that I would definitely not get to see for myself. What an achievement.
That is one of the most difficult hikes and climbs in Tassie, well done. I hiked Stacks Bluff at Ben Lomond on Saturday 3 rd and that was incredible the whole way. So many amazing views to be had in Tassie.
WOW! so spectacular ... glad you carted the drone up there for the magic shots. Loved the emotion and the realness. [Jack: you should have recorded a proposal for later as you'll be hard pressed to find a better spot] The shots you got really showed off the steepness of it ... well done !!
Omg! Absolutely loved loved loved this episode!! Was so wonderful to see you guys keeping it so real and doing something so challenging and beautiful. This Gave me fond memories (even though it’s not a matched scale at all, your hiked was probably 3-4 times harder) of when my partner and I hiked up East Mount Barren in the Fitzgerald River National Park in WA. Have you guys been there? It’s stunning!

What an amazing achievement reaching the summit. You two seem to have the most loving and caring relationship I've ever seen. It's lovely to watch.
Jack, the lovely words and feelings you have for being YOU is enough to want to follow you two. You have both got beautiful souls. ❤️
I got tears when you saw snow for the first time......I was 29 and pregnant when I first saw snow....the joys of being from WA. Proud of you both for conquering that mountain.

WOW! So proud of you both! Great job making the peak, and thanks for sharing and taking us all along for such an epic hike. If I could, I'd make my way to Tasmania just for that hike. It reminded me of my youth back in the mid 70's when I and my buddies camped, hiked and climbed glaciers in the Rogers Pass area of the Canadian Rockies. Oh to be that young again. And Jack, that peak would have made for the best proposal. You missed a great chance there buddy.
Good on you guys, great video👍
