Consider that for the first time around, Blackbeard got a new ship and his share of a lot of plunder from his stint as Bonnet's "shadow-captain". At that point, there wasn't all that much of a reason not to stay true to his word and let Stede go, even if that was his original plan and it would have been easy.

When it comes to fan fiction I have noted that it is usually started with the desire to escape reality. However depending on the author’s intentions their story, grammar, and punctuation can be effected. I have noticed that with romance and action genres there is a vast amount of grammar/punctuation errors, lack of world building, and plot holes because the author was rushing the story to get to what they believe is the best part of their story being sexual activities, or some ridiculous nonsense they believed would excite their readers. In romance fanfics they end up being rubbish porn with no plot that hardly makes any sense due to immature desire for anything related to sex, an example would be a story of strangers meeting each other in an unlike scenario then marrying and having sexual intercourse all in one chapter/page which isn’t an exaggeration.

@@Toastybees How am I a misogynist? I painted her exactly how she looks. A whiny prick who only married into money/social status. Then again, every other women was told to do the same by their families at the time. But that's how the time period was, you married into power and wealth regardless of who you were.
As for the properties and valuables, all his. He inherited it from his family, had to hire workers to work on the house using the little money he had and could get while all she did was bitch about how there was a little bit of dust there and here. Not to mention the deed of the house is probably in his name. He did everything he could to try make his wife happy and all she did was complain until he couldn't take it anymore.
Does it make it right that he abandoned his children? No, but what was he going to do? Take them with him? Try support them with the little money he didn't have? He didn't have any choice but to leave them and that is arguably the smartest choice. Was it a dick move to take all the valuables? No, not really. It wouldn't have mattered cause she would have found another man regardless of whether valuables were left behind ready to sell off. Additionally, with the status that she now has thanks to her ex-money-bank she would have no trouble marrying a desperate man (in need of a wife so that she can have his kids to inherit his land and wealth) and no where near having to resort to prostitution.
All in all, she was a complete bitch who likely didn't even love her husband one bit. Why you're defending her is beyond me. I don't hate women at all, one of the strongest people I've ever met in my life is a women. That's just a lame excuse you tossed up because you can't stand the fact that a women dare receive any criticism. Go take your beans and bullshit else where dude. It's clear you're just itching for an excuse to call someone "RaCiSt, bIgOtEd, pHoBic tHiS aND tHaT" for what any reason you deem fit.
