What years are you talking about? I found online that the 2014 has the best reliability scores. Also, is the gas more reliable than the Bluetec 250-350?
They come with push to start. Your specific model doesn’t have the keyless go feature. That includes push to start, locking and unlocking the doors by just using your finger as long as the key is nearby. You can also remove the push to start button and use the key if you want.
Hello from Panama. As an older German man, I had many different cars and brands. But whenever I got a used Mercedes with low mileage, you sit in it, and just feel like a king / queen. In Germany it was a W123. In Canada a SLK230 R170. As I moved to Panama, every single person said: Get an Asian brand. “Running” around. Visiting places, owners, dealers. Seriously? 15 year old Kia, Hyundai, Honda, Toyota and even Suzuki’s with far over 150,000km and ripped seats - for $6,000 and more? Before I did fly to Panama, I searched already online for cars in Panama. And I did safe a 2003 Mercedes W211 E240 on my browser. After 2 months seeing run down Asian cars, I checked if the Mercedes was still available. It was. So we met up. Originally 37,400km (23,000 miles) in December 2019 when I agreed to buy it for only $5,000. New tires, two sensors, service and a new headliner. Close to 5 years later, it has now 83,300km and still goes strong. Bought a lot where the road is more a manufacturer “test road “ I am looking for a SUV. Again. Asian SUV with ridiculous price tags and lots of miles. I was 40 years ago a mechanic by VW/Audi. I checked Audi - VW. Too many damn engine problems. The buttons inside are blank because of the soft touch paint they use. Goes down to a Mercedes ML or maybe BMW X5 with N52 / M57 engines because the rest has too many engine / turbo problems. Why I also look at a BMW X5? They are cheaper than the same age ML here in Panama! ML350? Best reliable engines are the naturally aspirated engines on both brands. But I am still waiting and searching. You know why? I still like the Mercedes feeling…. 😊 Nice video. BTW. Every brand has some things we don’t like. But one thing is clear. I had never so many issues with a used Mercedes then with brand new Ford cars / trucks in Canada. Warped dashboards are on F150. Buy back of my “brand new f-up 2015” factory ordered 2015 Mustang because after 3.5 months in the shop they just couldn’t fix all the problems it had. Bought a used truck 2010 Silverado 2500HD with just 86,000km on it. Ripped seats. Dashboard in 100 pieces. Seriously? Americans can’t make quality products! I’m sure the V8 is still alive in 5 years. But everything around, I don’t know. I replaced all seat covers cheap via eBay. They sell this stuff like candies. You won’t find this issues on a Mercedes.
I’m in agreement here. Though an unrelated purchase & reason to buy, I recently sought out a low mileage, very well maintained & treasured 2004 Porsche 996 911. I wanted a real “analogue” quality car & I’ve always wanted a 911. A rare “40 Jahre” edition caught my eye because it is slightly lowered and stiffened, it has a limited slip differential, an extra 25bhp at 345bhp, six speed manual, extended leather package and unmarked with only 13k miles, two previous owners. I bought it from a small specialist shop which had been maintaining it. It also has the model specific Porsche GT silver paint only otherwise available on the GT. It’s a little darker and deeper lustre than other 996 variants. I paid to have the Porsche switchable exhaust for stealth mode or louder sporty mode for those rare, lovely weather days in England! Also, Porsche Classics Department released a bespoke, modern communications system & I elected to have this installed. It’s the one big concession to modernity, so taken for granted these days. There’s almost nothing I cannot play music or video from on a modern, fast, full colour touch screen and navigation is bang up to date. I had checked that the IMS bearing had been uprated noticed that the whole clutch had recently been replaced after oil contamination from a weeping RMS (which was recently replaced) and that it a clean bore scoring review. It feels new in every way but still already 20 years old. I love that it predates the modern, over-intrusive on board electronics beloved of authoritarians everywhere. I even need to use a physical key to start it! I even treated it to new tyres all round because though the tyres were well inside legal limits, the low annual mileage meant it had had these in for too many years for my tastes. Apparently it was dry, dark garage stored under a cover, which I can believe, I don’t like a decade old 285 section tyres on a car capable of decent autobahn speeds. Now, nothing is less than excellent on exterior, interior, underbody, motor and drive train. The only missing thing is parking sensors. Apparently the factory original equipment cannot be retrofitted? If I want the feature, and I do, to preserve the pristine paint finish, I’ll need to find a specialist who knows what brand to supply and install. Most importantly, it gives me ownership pleasure just thinking about this wonderful piece of German automotive design and engineering. Merely sitting in it takes me back in to an analogue era. When I drive it, unlike many new 911s, where other motorists can resent such ostentatiousness and “conspicuous consumption”, this smaller, now modern classic elicits only appreciative feedback, from utter Porsche drivers but van & lorry drivers too!
Push to start is actually want you DO NOT want. The key fob batteries need changed every 18 months (non push to start batteries last 10 years) and push to start is also easier to steal.
Top vidéo 👍 totally agree with your conclusion! I personally own a 2012 ml350 306hp and love it for lot a points ! One of the best vehicle for family trip and evasion 😎

Guy's asking $14k CAD for it. I have no experience with Mercedes but I have asked one person (who loves mercs - thou he doesn't have any handson experience) and he says it could be good and agrees that car is super clean. I took it for a drive and it ran smooth, handled curves, potholes and speedup and slowed down like it should... I wanna ask if you think it will be a good buy for a reliable daily driver to and fro work and maybe occasional trips? What should look at to make sure everything is good on it as well (i can have it put on a lift as well if anyone recommends I look at something below)? How much is the regular maintenance cost as compared to lets say a Honda CRV? What are the KM intervals for Oil change etc? I would really appreciate the help, Thank you!
Tbh 10K is too much for a 2010 you should talk them down to 8K especially if you’re paying with cash. I paid 10K for my 2012 ML350. It’s about $399-$500 for the routine services called Service A and Service B. Brake pads can run you about $300-$450 per wheel. Brake rotors you’re going to be looking at $2000 plus. These may seem like high prices however the vehicle is so reliable it will pay for itself overtime plus you won’t have to constantly do those types of maintenances.

@@mohamedelyaouti2051 newer ? but there is no newer ml 350 generation, it was produced until 2015 and there is no newer generation
@@michaldobosz7492 i just meant the one after the one pictured in the video. 2012-2016 that generation is good. Go with a 2013-2014 their good cars very good. Even the first generation is also a tank too get a 2002-2003-2004 good 4wd system low range. Truck frame. Very tough reliable. But some people don't like the interior quality. Very plasticky but we'll built cars. Just avoid the generation in between those two
@@michaldobosz7492 just make sure you have service records and up to date maintenance should be reliable for years with no problems
