Eg 1: Lets say your salary is £50,000 as you mentioned. 1. Apke first £12,570 me = 0% tax 2. £50000 - £12,570 = £37430 (Remaining amount ) Ye fall karta hai Band B, so ispe lgega 20%. Eg 1: Lets say your salary is £80,000 after a superb promotion 😀 1. Apke first £12,570 me = 0% tax 2. £80000 - £12,570 = £67430 (Remaining amount ). Ab band B ka higher limit is : £50,270 so ab apke £67430 me se only £50,270 me lgega 20% 3. Remaining amount is £67430 - £50,270 = £17160 So, ab 17160 pe laega 40%. I hope mera calculation sahi hai. Any CA/Finance expert student feel to correct me.
