What was your favorite shot from the trip? As much as I love all the images I shot, the shot of Margrith takes the cake. Be sure to catch the Perfect Shot Series: th-cam.com/video/iZ2w-gO5kBs/w-d-xo.html
I agree, capturing an artist at work is a dream come true but the genuine warmth and happiness she exuded was wonderful to see. I must add @ 23.22, that shot of the Matterhon was exquisite. I really enjoyed this video and seeing Switzerland and how stunningly beautiful it & it's people are. Oh, that shot of the person on the stairs was also a beautiful shot, well done for this video.
Just found your channel through the swiss challenge video of James Popsys, gotta say I like your style in this and now I look forward to other adventures with you and James and a few others I follow here on TH-cam. Cheers.
I’ve been really enjoying your newer travel vlogs where you narrate the process and show the final shots. Looking forward to more of this! Love the staircase shot 👌🏼
As a Swiss photographer living in Switzerland, l love watching vidoes and photographs shot with the eyes of a tourist. You can spend your whole life here in Switzerland, takeing amazing pictures. Well done.
I think this is my favorite video on your channel. The fresh air and nature in Switzerland is so beautiful, the photos and your passion are inspirational, and Margit the goldsmith made my day. She's #goals for sure 😊
Well done! Great story with Margarethe, but the mountain reflection wins it for me. That last challenge really limits you. I'm not sure what they gained by restricting it to three photos. You should get some new subscribers from this project. I've been following James and Lizzie for years. I'll need to check out Sid's portfolio. You all got some great images. Carry on. 👍🥂
Thanks for your comment! The urban challenge was definitely tough, but I actually liked the aspect of only 3 photos. I've never been more present while shooting than I was on that challenge, and that feeling of mindfulness and being present is one of the main reasons why I love photography so much. It was challenging, but quite interesting as well. But glad to have you on board, welcome to the channel!
From start to finish, this video was an incredible watch. It's great to see you in the amazing landscapes around Switzerland, but seeing you interact, photograph and learn Margarets story was definitely a highlight of the video. This has definitely made me want to go and watch the whole series now and hopefully one day, i'll get to visit and take photos in Switzerland, just like this 👏
Thank you Joseph! Spent a good amount of time on it, glad you enjoyed it :) Margrith was definitely the highlight for me too, everything about that interaction was beautiful. So glad I met her.
Following the video from start to finish actually there was a lot in it that takes the viewer to all the places you went as a photographer and you narrated it very well that once started it was difficult to not follow through. So yes the photo challenge video has a very good story in itself. Excellent! Thank you from Oregon state. (This video in itself does make for a good travel video about Switzerland).
I’m in love with shot of Margrith, maybe it’s the story behind or just an insane photo but it’s definitely an incredibly inspiring one Thanks for sharing this trip, I reaaaaally enjoyed watching 🙏
Appreciate the love Ben, thanks for being here man. Glad to have you on board! The entire interaction I had with Margrith was lovely and gifting her that print was the least I could do.
what a fantastic promotion of my home country and your photography skills....beautiful photos here and it felt like coming home (from Australia),so many familiar places, i.e Zurich. Hope you won the competition...will check out the video from Swiss tourism in a minute :). Keep up the good work Sean and thank you for a ton of inspiration!...wow congrats just watched all the clips and so happy the gold smith made it onto time square. She would have been over the moon :)
Thank you! I don’t use either for street photography. Didn’t use any filters for the photos in this video, only a variable ND for the video to stick to the 180 degree shutter rule
