100%! I should have mentioned this. Film is next level for inspiration, especially some of the old stuff when visual effects weren’t as much of a thing yet.
@@seandalt Agreed! And as trendy as it is to use Deakins as an example, I feel like every frame of his could be an award winning photo on its own! Anyways great video Sean, always love tuning in.
100%. AI tech is pretty nuts but ultimately it can’t replace the human experience and all that goes into it. Patience opens the door to picking up on more subtle queues (both visual and symbolic) that you can incorporate into your work. AI just goes with what it thinks the right answer is. Appreciate the comment Nate!
That's a pretty neat gimbal. I'm not in the market for a smartphone gimbal right now, but if I were that would probably be the one I'd buy. Edit: Also, thank you for the great advice. Love the content, keep it up.
Didn’t think I’d use one til I actually tried it out tbh. Smartphones cameras are pretty nuts these days, I think it’s a great option for those who don’t want to drop thousands on a proper video setup but still want clean cinematic footage. Appreciate the comment!
@@seandalt I ended up buying a fancy gimbal for my camera a couple years back. Haven't really gotten any use out of it yet, but I'm still kinda glad I have it so that I don't have to shell out the money for when I really need it.

Studying films - cinematographers, directors, etc. is as good a source of photography inspiration for me as leafing through all my photo books!

Great Advice, even in this AI world we are moving into there still isn't a replacement for boots on the ground with Patience like you mentioned.
