2007 CRF150R Big Wheel Conversion

  • Here’s some parts list of what I got for the bike:
    •Moose Pro Skid Plate
    •Race Tech Shock Spring 5.6 kg/mm
    •Michelin StarCross 5 Soft Terrain Rear Tire
    •Michelin StarCross 5 Soft Terrain Front Tire
    •JT Self-Cleaning Steel Front Sprocket 15T (420)
    •Moose Aluminum Rear Sprocket Red - 56T
    Got all of these from FortNine and it was roughly $685
    •Tusk Impact Complete Wheel - Front 19 x 1.40 Black Rim/Silver Spoke/Red Hub
    •Tusk Impact Complete Wheel - Rear 16 x 1.85 Black Rim/Silver Spoke/Red Hub
    Got these complete Hub/Rim set from Rocky Mountain Atv and it was roughly $545
    •Motion Pro Alloy Rim Lock 1.40”x1.60”
    •Motion Pro Alloy Rim Lock 1.85”
    •Bridgestone Heavy Duty Rim Band 19”
    •Bridgestone Heavy Duty Rim Band 16”
    Got these for the tires from Revco and it was roughly $40
    I can confirm everything to do with my wheels do work, I am not 100% if sliding the small wheel axle back will be okay. I will be finding out hopefully within the next few weeks.

    hey did the wheels fit without having to change the rear swing arm?

      Yes the bigger wheels fit in the small wheel swing arm. The big wheel swing arm is only 3/8 bigger than the small wheel one so bringing the axle back all the way give it enough clearance. I’ll explain it in a video when I get the chance

      this would give you zero adjustability as the chain wears if you do it this way BTW. you will get like zero life out of a chain because you will have to replace it way before its shot

      @@stephencatapano5729had it converted for a year and it’s been fine. Still got some okay adjustments for the chain
