At first, these guys looked like they'd be the type that went for a slow, low rev cruise and talk about how loud exhausts and modifications ruin the essence of the car. NOPE! Couldn't have been more wrong. These guys are awesome, and that is one of the sweetest symphonies I have ever heard. Certainly not disappointed by this vid 👍
Now that is a proper Hot Rod...I own a 488 GTS, which I absolutely love, including my factory 488 challenge exhaust, but the 458 NA sound is just so damn good.

Holy cow! That’s the perfect exhaust for the 458! Seriously, it’s the perfect setup, this will have to be my next car/exhaust combo, Richard did it right. Great video, had me grinning the whole time!
I did the same set up. But also did the ECU flash for another 45 HP but also to address the CEL. Light. It’s amazing was happy to do it. Question if anyone can answer. What did you guys do about the o2 sensors. Did you put spacers , o2 simulator sensors , ecu tune, or the fab speed OBD2 plug to erase the CEL light.
I had the same reaction. I changes the car. I drive it on CT off on the manatino switch. And the car is a different animal. I like the sound of the Kline exhaust. Also keeping the valves also on sport mode in the highway it’s nice and smooth. Also when pulling into your Neighborhood. Kline you get the most bang for your buck. I will be uploading a video by the end of the week.
What wholesome video. Exhaust sounds really nice especially with the roof down. Hope to see more videos of this car exhaust and hope he tunes it in the future as I’ve heard that you get a lot of pop and burbles.

Ive found Ferrari owners are kind of strange, I get mixed reactions when my 360 valves kick open...some owners like and others hate it. Shrugs....

Wondering who did the ceramic coating? Wasn't mentioned in the show notes. I'm putting a new system on my 97' F355 and am looking into the different offerings. I'll be coating everything except the Tubi headers and Capristo bypass valve.. Kriesig Spiral "Y" pipe, Superformance test pipes and Fabspeed "X" exhaust system. The Gold looks splendid and that's one of my choices besides Swain Tech "White Lightning".

The exhaust sounds awesome but how do you get around the emissions inspection that is required to get the car registered? Also many cars throw up a check engine light when you remove the cats. Did anything come up? If so how did you address it?

Did you ever post all of the exhaust note comparisons? Any comment on the weld quality between the brands? I believe inconel is difficult to make pretty welds.

Not sure if you could give an unbiased opinion (not sure what you sell or whom you're affiliated with), but cost aside, is there one that you think is better constructed than others? I purchased my speciale secondhand and I'm told it has a Novitec exhaust. The drone at 3k rpms is horrible and I'm looking at IPE or Kline, but am open to other suggestions. Also, I'm guessing there's not much gains in terms of efficiency from the headers over stock other than weight? Did Kline ceramic coat everything or was it sent somewhere? I would probably want to do the same to minimize heat damaging carbon fiber bits. Thanks!
@@ekological kline does not ceramic coat, they have to be sent to another place for that. If you don't have a shop that does that, I can help arrange it with the shop that did Richard's. Honestly I think all of the manufacturers I have on my site are built well. If drone is a problem, you should get a valved system that has a manual remote control. Then you can turn the "volume" up or down depending when you want it.

Good grief I should have gotten the headers, Josh should have know to order them without my approval and just told me I owed him when I showed up, I would have happily given in once they were laying in the floor when I showed up after hearing Richards. Sadly i cant differentiate much between these x pipe mufflers. I only read s line is the loudest. While novitec and kline below. I didnt notice difference in tone. Althogh i must say ipe sounds rather artifical . My 2 cents 🤣

Not yet. Inconel is difficult, same with titanium. But they did a pretty impressive job

A lot of work. What would be a reasonable charge from a shop to put in a similar exhaust system on a 458?
