So glad to hear it!! It’s fun trying out new ways to teach and new ways to create videos. It was a good experience to teach someone with absolutely 0 art/3D background or experience!
Great video, Dave. :) You're a very patient teacher and your student was very receptive to your instruction. Thank you for the lesson. I had never heard of Sculpt before. I'm just trying to get better at Procreate (LOL) so I fear this might be ANOTHER rabbit hole for me to go down! :) Thanks again!
Easy tutorial! Wish things were explain a little bit more and the camera being zoomed out but either easy and good tutorial for beginners! Wish i could finish it but my tablet sucks and it was lagging real bad during the resolution part
Greetings from Nebraska, I was able to do it step by step and it stayed the same. And the best of all is that I learned to use the tools they used in a fluid and clear way. God bless you.😂
Completely new to sculpting and 3d printing and came across this app and then your TH-cam. Thanks for sharing it’s a great tutorial and can’t wait to watch the rest! I did make a little blob lol but inner eyes didn’t print but it still happy 😃
Thanks Dave! Really nice tut for absolute beginners as me. I just regret the zoom in, sometimes it was hard to find where the things where because of that. But I'm fan of your method. Can't wait to test the others!
This looks like a really good video tutorial but I couldn’t see all your iPad screen and therefore couldn’t see which icons you were toggling on or off and therefore it was a bit frustrating. It may be that I was viewing on an iPad mini and perhaps needed a bigger screen to see the periphery of the screen . However this approach seems ideal , other sculpture channels are perhaps a bit to ambitious for begginers, so thank you.
I’m sorry about that! I actually didn’t do any of the navigating for this one, it was my fiancé; she had never used an iPad before so much different than my navigating. I do have a few other beginner tutorials just like this one where it may be a bit easier to see. It’s an iPad 12.9 in, I wish I could get bigger!
Hi, reading your comments tells me you're sculpting on iPad mini. Can you share your experience running nomad sculpt on iPad mini, does the app runs smoothly? I have iPad mini 6 too! Cheers
@@drugfreedaveExcellent job, you can do it just like the girl who was doing it. They should make more videos together since in her I could see my growth thanks to her real desire to grow. I WOULD LIKE YOU TO MAKE SOME ROBOT! GOD BLESS YOU. And greetings from Nebraska always.😂😂😂
Awesome video! I managed to make myself a little devil, but it got hard to see what was going on from around 27 minutes into the video as the screen seemed like it was zoomed in. I couldn't see what selections you guys were making. Still, I managed though.
I’m sorry, as she was working I wasn’t watching how she was holding her hands and that she might be blocking the buttons. Ill know for next time and tell her to hold her hand more parallel to the screen 👍🏾
it's such a really good tutorial, it's simple and easy to understand. Can i ask u a question, in my nomad, the little orientation qube on the top right corner didn't shows up. Do u have any idea where i can look for it?
I don’t think it does, I believe when charged it stops using the battery and uses the power. I could be wrong… but I work on it so much it’s easier to leave it plugged in. So far so good, it’s my 3rd iPad!
This videos are very good. Bat you wast a lot of time doing nothing. The video gets long and tiring. You spend 5min dragging the object without any objective.
Then don’t watch! This was my fiancé sculpting who’s never sculpted or used an iPad. If you don’t appreciate me or my teaching, or videos, please bring the negativity elsewhere! ✌🏾
you are such a life saver i did everything step by step and it turned out so cute😭💗
This was fun making this along with you guys!

Yeah sorry I didn’t realize her arm was blocking so much!
Awesome thanks for the help

this helped me alot thank you, where did you get cover for pen?
Amazon, I think I may have them linked in the description 👍🏾
WONDERLUL! but I'm having a very hard time trying to understand where are the buttons when the camera focuses super zoom in. But thanks.

It’s in the settings on the top right, you may have to dig a little for it but it’s there 👍🏾
Hi Dave what Ipadpro would you suggest for nomad sculpt or procreate 8gb or 16gb mostly going use it to create stuff for 3d printing
I think I just have the 8gb 256 pro, works for me 👍🏾
May I ask why you always keep your iPad plugged in? Does it affect the battery?
I don’t think it does, I believe when charged it stops using the battery and uses the power. I could be wrong… but I work on it so much it’s easier to leave it plugged in. So far so good, it’s my 3rd iPad!
