Most definitely not a good idea to take with other medications, in fact it can be administered intravenously as a means of flushing the kidneys.
Great if you want to hydrate but not so good if you’re taking medication and need to retain it in your body.
If you take too much don’t wander too far from a shitter……you’ll be needing it.

Salt may help pull the water jnto the cells but that doesn't mean it's utilisable. Salt is known to increase water retention, meaning the body retains the water in its cells without properly utilizing it. In my experience I feel much more hydrated and energised on a low salt diet (I find it hard to completely eliminate), you need sodium and minerals which you can get from other sources, not the rock salt per se.

Dr. Barbara I want to thank you because if not for you sharing your wonderful knowledge and through the Lord Jesus I might add, you and with the good Lord sending me to listen to you, you have saved my life my dear sister in Christ Jesus ! I was so dehydrated and I tried to get help from my doctor, the emergency department at the hospital to no avail. I almost died because of being so dehydrated. I lost all my muscle, the little bit of fat I had and now weigh only 83 pounds at 63 years old. I have never been so weak ! But at least now I am hydrated and hopefully with more prayers I will soon be better. Please pray for me as I fell 1 1/2 years ago and broke the last two vertebrae in my back and my pelvic bone, but I have osteoporosis so bad they can't do anything about it. Any suggestions on how to help my bones to get strong again without taking meds from big pharma? I can't take those meds they really tear up my stomach. God bless you Barbara forever. Thank you so very much for your support and help. You are truly a huge blessing from the Lord ! 😊❤❤❤

From my knowledge this depends if you choose refined or unrefined Salt! Himalayan rock salt has the most lead and mercury in it & other metals which are radioactive & only trace minerals due to the processing method. Im going for Alaea red sea salt which is also rich iodine. All salts contain heavy metals so it really is a matter of personal taste.
