We do celebrate St.Joseph's Day with novenas & altars in private homes. My Aunts have hosted a few of them, but our big celebration is the Feast of St. Peter, including a parade, outdoor Mass, carnival, sporting events, music & dancing in front of the altar at St. Peter's Square. My family has done several floats over the years. Many "'menicanis" often comment how it is a New Orleans type atmosphere.

Viva San Giusseppe y Viva San Pietro from Gloucester, Massachusetts. Pop. 30,000, 35-40% of at least 1/2 Siciliano heritage. We just celebrated the feast of St. Peter, patron saint of fishermen, after a two year hiatus this past weekend. Since 1927, the last weekend in June before the 4th of July.

@@tttgaming8762 us blond/blonde Scandinavian Caucasian people actually stepped foot first on North America in 992 AD and we ended up giving it to the Indigenous People of the Artic who r today known as Native Americans/First Nations and them only until 500 years later in 1492 when yo people the Mediterraneans took over and colonized them and then eventually in 1524 the Europeans joined in too
