- Howsit my bru? We are back in South Africa. And again it was a healarious start. A fun but long flight and a long drive to our little farm in Africa in Vryheid. We experienced how to live on a farm in Zululand wiht many animals, birds and nature in a wonderful scenery. The rolling hills of Northern Kwazulu Natal are really enchanting. Come and dive with us into our first days back in South Africa and let the Expedtion Wild continue.

I was born and brought up in KZN and moved to the Western Cape in 2000. I love nature and whlle there visited the Umfolozi Hluhluwe game reserve a few times and must say the view from the Hilop Restaurant and other facilities up there is spectacular. Not forgetting the St Lucia estuary and the ferry. All those hippos so close up.
Yeeees, nature is stunning there. Both areas you mentioned will be coming up on our chanel - also some more hidden spots! We enjoy it lot.
@@HolamundoCH there is one incident I will never forget while I was there. I had rounded a bend just before the Hiltop climb and there was this little bird hovering over my car chirping and basically trying to shoo me away. Then what do I see next, the largest elephant I have seen in my life with its huge ears flapping. I had just passed the huge animal and he started stamping his feet as if to attack. I didn't wait to see what he was up and just put my foot down on the accelerator accelerator and was out of there. I will definitely make a visit to that part of the world again.
