TOYOTA is a brand that is trusted globally, one can buy any Toyota car blindfolded. The only point is Toyota cars aren't affordable for common people in India, otherwise, no car in the whole world can beat a Toyota in terms of ruggedness, engine durability, and long-lasting performance. Hilux is a pickup truck vehicle, pretty uncommon in India but very very common in the US and Europe. Soon, the Indian car market is going to be overwhelmed by this segment. The only brand that can give Toyota close competition is Jeep.

Toyota Hilux is damn popular in Pakistan. it is not only a status symbol , but also associated with power, and horrir, it is the favorite car used by intelligence forces, polices, armed forces.

Isn't Toyota Milking us hard with the ridiculous pricing!! They reduced the base variant prices but increased the above level ones. Also the closest competitor V CROSS is substantial cheaper than this. Also they cut a lot in features likes NO TPMS (providing as accessory), no 360 degree camera... This really is a huge vehicle which do need that if driven in city. Wish they had priced closed to V CROSS then this sure would have found more users.
Yes cars are overpriced but you better needs to have some guts to earn more money to buy it. Even some cars with no features are still preferred by people all over India. They don't want to hear anyone's opinion because they just buy it and complete their dreams.

@@Holy_Demon you can question this to government of India because they earn 18 lakhs as tax when Toyota sells one Fortuner. Even in some countries Fortuner's tax is only 5-6 lakhs but in India it's too high and this is the reason why Toyota has no other option to reduce price so they increase it.
And also this high taxes are the reason why some amazing car brands like Ford, Chevrolet, fiat, Mitsubishi and Datsun left India because they faced billions of losses when there is decline in sales
@@bhargabXedits999 its US who is facing this. We have to shell out money for those taxes. This tax issue isn't just prominent with JUST TOYOTA right?? Every company faces the tax issue. They can provide good enough options too right. Simply putting the burden on consumer isn't fair.
Ford leaving India has many reasons. Even us consumers are also a part of that.. But the company TOO is RESPONSIBLE.. Their whole sale was fixed ON ECOSPORT but they didn't had proper upgrade to that nor they tried anything in just one class above. They kept the same model
Today's Consumer are open to different choices orelse these new companies wouldn't have survived. We the consumer have the POWER to get changes and it's high time too for these exuberant prices aswell.

Depends which variant u buying. If it's has a two door then it's only for work and if it's has four door then it's can use for both, but you want to buy only for lifestyle then top spec do go.
