The way I say “I’m also very tired” at the same time she says “I’m so tired” in Alone in the background.

There is no age to Art. In saying that I'm 64 and flying through Willows' music! Congratulations beautiful young woman. I'm tearing because you broke the rules and created your own lyrics and sound that are only your's and resound for all of us. It's been a long time I've wanted to dance like this. Thankyou so much.❤

You don't know Jon Batiste? Get going. What a great album this is. Crazy jazz chords, odd time signatures. Check out her Tiny Desk concert with Mohini Dey on bass.

You saying israel is your favourite song by her is so real. I adore that song. Also this album actually reminds me a lot of The 1st! Down might be my favourite song from this one.

FYI, Jon Batiste is a pianist best known for being Stephen Colbert's band leader on The Late Show until about a year ago.

But also, in recent years, a Golden Globe, Critics' Choice, Bafta, Oscar and Grammy winner.
      Jon Batiste really knows music.

If you want another new album with some really great songs, you might really enjoy Faedom by Dune Moss. Dune Moss is one of the most unique artists with such a cool voice. The song Embryo on that album gives me so many chills.

This album is so referential to me. A few of the songs are straight up Kate Bush lite. Ancient Girl is distilled Jethro Tull’s Aqualung. I also hear Tori Amos and the band Belly. To me it’s like she took chord progressions from other songs and expanded them. The heavy Kate Bush influence makes sense with St. Vincent on the album. So far, my take: younger listeners think the album has an original sound when older listeners are like wait, that sounds just like this song or this album. I like the album, but not my favorite.

I'm an old fan of Tori and Kate's and though I agree please give her big credit because She didn't take the easy pop path She could have. I'm dancing through these songs like I'm 13 again in dance class and though my mind can criticize my body never lies.

"Symptom Of Life" - a beautiful song born out of self-discovery DMT trips (Ayahuasca).
Willow opened her third eye to the 'unseen' dimension; the portal to 'the other side'. DMT is a medicine to be respected; illegal here in the U.S. but certainly not an 'addictive recreational drug'. Smokable N,n-DMT/5Meo-DMT is the powerhouse; in and out in less than 15 minutes, but those 15 minutes can feel like a lifetime, and like a 8K movie playing in your mind with your eyes closed: "Magic is real, when you see it inside, you decide". You lose all sense of both time and self during a DMT trip.
    "Feeling absence of time
    Knowing all is decided
There's nothing here left to find
The story's all in my mind"
"Looking at you, now I am wondering who am I
If I could try to take you back, I couldn't define" - coming face to face with an entity in her DMT-induced vision; there are no words in the human language to adequately describe and define the visions/experience of a DMT trip.
"Gotta decide if I'm gonna see it, why?" Why? Because sometimes you have to be willing to feel like you're going to die (the ego-death and detachment from self) to experience the pure bliss and beauty and love and oneness that DMT will show you/remind you of where you come from and what you truly are "While beauty is a symptom of life". DMT shows you an entirely other 'reality' that feels more real than this life experience we are currently living.
"It's like a turtle in sand
    Making way to the ocean
    Almost meeting the end
Because the birds are in motion, oh"
"Feast my eyes on lower things" our ego prevents us from transcendence ; we just cannot escape that in this life...without the assistance of DMT whether from plant/toad 5MeO-DMT/deep meditation utilizing our natural DMT stores.
The transition from the dissonant/jarring/discordant/conflicting 7/4 time signature to the feeling of release at the 4/4 chorus is a brilliant representation of a DMT trip's peak of euphoric bliss.
Enlightenment is a duality that is both beautiful and scary. Life and death are duality as well; the eternal source is where we all come from; it gives us breath, and it takes our breath when we return back to it after this Earth-experience. In the face of the eternal infinite, we are all safe. It never quite tells you the meaning of this Earthly existence of pain and suffering though, unfortunately. "I'm (desperately) trying to find out"
She went DEEP on this one
