This album is proof that more black artists need to open their minds to working with Rock producers. She blended Rock, Jazz, funk and she did it pretty effortlessly. The instrumentation and production took risks yet remained very tasteful. I can't believe she's only 23.
Symptom of life and the fear isn’t real are my two solid faves. LOVED this album. I’m a sucker for some good experimental jazzy rock. Love love love it
i love that you werer sad to see the last song end. watching your brain take in willow's genius was so much fun. i love this album, i listen to it every day-- she's incredible. i love big eelings and symptom of life. ancient girl is amaing. fear is not real has already helped me through a traumatic situation. the vibe on 'i know that face' is crazy on the bassline. listen to her stuff its awesome. ardipithicus and the 1st was great, as well as the singles she drops in between. i appreciate her music and energy so much. thanks for enjoying her music and hyping her up as she deserves!
this album is soooo good! first time i’ve really listened to willow and i’m developing into a fan fr! “i know that face” is my favourite along side “symptom of life” wish i could meet her one day
When she did psycho freak i knew she was going to be good! Her voice and the drummer 😮 love pain for fun! Unique is right and I think she played all instruments Album ❤❤
It would be nice to listen to another Willow album reaction. She’s an amazing artist. But Tbh I don’t even know when she be dropping , I always hear her stuff through word of mouth or YT recs.
