SweetnessnBK these celebrities! Especially the music guys. They already think their different because they're "artists". So they subscribe to their own thinking. And,before they know it. They made an MM. They made a Justin Timberlake. They made a Justin bieber. I blame celebrities.
Hell some black folks had Miley Cyrus walking around in their mama's house not speaking to her 🤣 then she decided to rebrand herself as a white girl again and see how that's working out? I'm done with the whole invited to the cookout and black passes metaphors at this point because the ones giving them out are the relatives who don't get invited to sh*t their damn selves.
That's it. I'm confiscating tickets and stamping hands. NO MORE PEOPLE ARE INVITED TO THE COOKOUT😐 But seriously, this needs to stop. Sometimes black people can be entirely too welcoming. Every non black person that has a moment of decency isn't automatically down.
He goes after LeBron James all of the time. He says he tried to get an autograph, and LeBron brushed him and his family off. This was several years ago. He is still grinding that same axe today. Pathetic, lol!!!
Chris Christie got flak for lowering the state flag for Whitney, but the same people had no problem with the lights on Broadway and Las Vegas strip being dimmed for Sinatra. He ran with gangsters all of his life.
Anyone who thinks Prince was an addict is nuts. I'm a chronic pain patient, I know that kind of pain and how it eats at your bones. I will never believe Prince's death was anything other than an accident. I refuse to believe it was anything other than a miscalculation of how much he took. Ahh Black History month... I'm a white girl, where is Crispus Attucks? Yes he was mixed Native American and Black, but still the first to be killed in the Boston Massacre, or Garrett Augustus Morgan inventor of the smoke hood and the traffic light among others. Why don't we hear about these African Americans during Black History Month? (or as they're calling it here, Illinois Hidden History, you know there's a race problem when....) We all know about Harriet Tubman, Malcolm X and Martin Luther King....and we should continue to hear about them, but what about the rest of the African Americans that made history in small ways, think of the world without traffic lights. That guy had to pay a white guy to pretend to be him to sell the smoke hoods. This is the the history we need to hear about too. How many other blacks were paying white guys to pose as them to sell their products? The first time I heard about him I was stunned that he had to do that. Just wanted your thoughts on who they pick and choose to celebrate during Black History Month Calvin.
ItsMeShi, thank you for getting it. I think there is a lot more accidental overdoses in the chronic pain community due to doctors trying to deal with the pain management in their offices instead of sending people to pain management specialists. I see a pain management specialist and know the rules, how much I can take and if I have problems, I get in right away. It's not a problem. Too many doctors are just prescribing and not trying to help the person in pain. I can totally see Prince taking that one extra pill and it being too much. He was a very small man and it would be very easy to do.
Duma S Thank you, like I said, I'm a white girl and I've never forgotten that the first person that was killed in the Boston Massacre was a freed slave, or half Native American/half African American. I was in first grade the first time I heard the name Crispus Attucks, it's a name I've never forgotten and never failed to see the irony that the first person that died for this country was a black man. It's a shame we don't explore more Black History during Black History month. Those three names I mentioned are the three every white people can name; you might get a Rosa Parks or a Sojourner Truth but that's it. I watch the footage of The Little Rock Nine and all I see on those kids faces is pure terror. I can't even imagine how those kids felt about going to a white school. Why aren't we celebrating George Washington Carver, Booker T. Washington, W.E.B. Du Bois and so many others. Our "Illinois Hidden History" aka Black History Month mentioned it took a presidential order to have black families included in the Gold Star families after WWI, that's just sad. Where's the celebration of Black Music? We wouldn't have rock and roll without the blues or jazz and hey, Living Color was the only black metal band I can name. Let's also celebrate the fact we are finally getting some black players in the NHL, about time! There was a black kid from Harlem that won a silver medal in fencing in the Olympics a few years ago. If that's not knocking down barriers and stereotypes, I don't know what is.

I keep saying no invites period. People can be allies but stay in their lane. Black people are the only ones who find it necessary to include everyone. As for his discussion Justin played nothing from his new album and frankly America knows the hottest music right now is black music and they invited Justin AGAIN to play old songs bec they sound black. I can't wait who is on the schedule next year.
Michael Rapaport got too comfy in his urban-adjacent, "I got Black friends" New Yorker ness and so-called Black cookout invite and got waaaayyyy out of pocket. NEVER 👏🏾EVER👏🏾COME👏🏾FOR 👏🏾JANET 👏🏾JACKSON 👏🏾 Stick to your C-list movies my man. No one checking for you neither.
I would invite Jane Elliott only because I think she would respectfully decline because she would understand stand that she doesn't belong there. lol but honestly there are just somethings we need to keep to ourselves. Why do we have to share all of our greatness.
Janet's music transcends time, it doesn't matter how old her music is - Nasty 1986 - is just as relevant today as they were then, same with Rhythm Nation, Scream, and the way she's currently performing - Janet Jackson could easily make an absolutely remarkable halftime show. It's a shame she hasn't been able to hold a full Superbowl 15 minute halftime show. She would put together something incredible, which is why 2019 could be a turning point. It's back on CBS in 2019, it's a matter of Janet and CBS being able to work together again...or not. Michael Rapaport, I had to go to IMDB and look up who he was... and then I said ... Oh. ... why is his mouth open about janet? Why does Janet have him so pressed? It's dumb. If anyone is irrelavant - it's him.
People have pointed out that lots of SB performers don't have current hits, but they draw huge audience ratings. Justin is desperate for record sales, so he's going to be on that stage. His people have bombarded Shazam and Amazon mp3 with ads for his latest album. Using Prince's image in his act makes it worse.
Love Mr. Michael's videos---he just tells it like it is. I've started cracking up every time I listen to one, and he's so informative on top of that, and fun as hell to listen to.
Can you do a video on your views on integration. I’ve really been researching it and talking to my grandparents that lived through and and would like to hear you view points
I never did like him especially on Bravo, he thinks he knows about the black housewife's. Andy get him off, I turned it off when he shows up. I did not invite him to my cookout, never
I have said this before in the comments, but I'm going to say it again. Thanks for the excellent content. I'm playing catch up... because I'm new to your channel, my goal is to have watch all of your videos by the end of this year.
Jane Elliot is the greatest. She will definitely have a seat at the table in the kitchen nearest the restroom her glass with sweet tea will never clear
First...Truth with some humor. BBQ pork ribs, hot links, chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob Mac & cheese rolls, pound cake, grape soda, kook-aid...TO Gentrified cook outs....Three bean casserole, roasted potatoes, tofu hotdogs on gluten free buns, Quinoa salad, back bean chips w/salsa. Stop with the white madness. IJS
Too much talk publicly about bullsh--. Janet ain't thinking bout dude. She too busy counting that Arab child support money. She ain't been coming to the "cookout" for a long time now.
Selma It is that serious. White people and everybody else need to stay in their damn place! But they never will, as long as us keep thinking: “it’s not that serious.”
Arrmia Benton You're 100% correct - they'll never stay in their places because a lot of us keep letting them in. I'm not sure about others, but I've never heard Asians or Mexicans talk about this invitation to the cookout nonsense. With Asians, you had better be spending some money at the Chinese buffet - which is a prime example of how we should treat these gringos - pay us to eat with us!!! With us, all a white person has to do is speak a little slang, have a thing for black women/men, and like some of the same music to get an invite, and that's sad on our part....
I love Ms Jackson, but he has a point. In the music business it's about what's new. Yes she is legendary, so is Mariah or U2 or Aerosmith, but I don't think they are Superbowl crowd performers. Janet can be yes even at 51 but she has other projects coming up like Essence and other festivals to perform at. Now is it because Michael is white he is getting grief cause I am certain a black person is saying the same thing. Does this now mean the black person isn't invited to the Cookout anymore. The truth is the truth no matter who says it. If she gets new music out I will be the first to say Janey for Superbowl in Atlanta. She used to live here in Atlanta so that would be nice for her.
Who is giving out these "black cards" and sending out "invitations" to the cookout? WHOEVER IT IS - STOP IT!
SweetnessnBK these celebrities! Especially the music guys. They already think their different because they're "artists". So they subscribe to their own thinking. And,before they know it. They made an MM. They made a Justin Timberlake. They made a Justin bieber. I blame celebrities.
Yasssss. 👏👏👏
SweetnessnBK Michael went Way Too Far! His Bitch ass is way too invested in Kenya & the RHOA
Right. That's how Africa got fucked up. They thought they could trust the colonizers
Talib Kweli
The thing is Mexican people don't put up with the disrespect and they don't invite any and everybody to the hypothetical cookout
And majority are racist against black folk.
heyitsablackguy nobody said they weren't I stand by what I said
Because they are! I know from fucking experience.
heyitsablackguy once again I never said they weren't
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH SHADDDAUPPPPP!!!!

I love Janet Jackson :)
WHO are these people who think that Janet is only famous because of Michael?? Bless their hearts...they really don't know what they don't know!
That's it. I'm confiscating tickets and stamping hands. NO MORE PEOPLE ARE INVITED TO THE COOKOUT😐
But seriously, this needs to stop. Sometimes black people can be entirely too welcoming. Every non black person that has a moment of decency isn't automatically down.
girl interrupted You have never lied! I wouldnt even stamp hands...get that sharpie with the thick tip and write BIG ASS DUBYA’s on both hands!
Good thing i NEVER liked him
He is probably still big mad that he had that small part in Poetic Justice.
The man is married to a Black Woman as well. Watch him pull that, "but ....but I have Black friends & married to a black wife".
Gary owen too!
Ariel f×ck gary Owen!
And Ellen
Never liked him I see right through him
Agreed!
lbvs
he doesn’t go after black men because he knows better
He goes after LeBron James all of the time. He says he tried to get an autograph, and LeBron brushed him and his family off. This was several years ago. He is still grinding that same axe today. Pathetic, lol!!!
This fool was a plus 1 of a plus 1. You gets no plate
Chris Christie got flak for lowering the state flag for Whitney, but the same people had no problem with the lights on Broadway and Las Vegas strip being dimmed for Sinatra. He ran with gangsters all of his life.
Great commentary, bro! Terrific exposition on "The Cookout". You've got a new sub.
Don't nobody I mean don't nobody talk about Janet Jackson she's on and poppin at any age
Debriefing table😂...I'm 40 and I still look forward to the table at lunch. Where black folks can exhale for 30 minutes a day.
Rappaport is a habitual line stepper!
The cookout is only for family! PERIOD.

Megan W preach, my white sister!
These lice demons...I swear we're gonna learn at some point, but we stay getting bit.

I agree, but what are we going to do to make Michael Rapoport and Justin Timberlake know their place? This isn't funny, actually.
Michael Rapaport got too comfy in his urban-adjacent, "I got Black friends" New Yorker ness and so-called Black cookout invite and got waaaayyyy out of pocket. NEVER 👏🏾EVER👏🏾COME👏🏾FOR 👏🏾JANET 👏🏾JACKSON 👏🏾

New SUBSCRIBER love your POV so smart and funny!
She was Penny, in good times!!! She been a STAR
Anyone that doesn't like or respect humans of African decent is not allowed at the cookout.
Well spoken. And I really appreciate the history lesson...the bit about TH-cam history? 👏👏👏

I bet you black people will forgive and let them back at the cookout like y'all always do
Preach Brother....
Kiddie table with hot dogs and Capri Sun... ROLLING!!!😂😂
i didn't know that nugget about youtube
And that SOTW tour was lit , way better than a Justin Timberlake concert.
You are too funny, but truthful! Sad part is, some of US shouldn't be at the cookout either!
Marie Reeder if you mean by the term skinfolk ain't always your Kinfolk then yes I get what you saying it makes perfect sense
Yep, that's what I meant. Skin folk.
Excellent video young man! Bravo!!!! The truth has been served! let's eat.
so true, about Prince. too true about the lunch table
Thanks for this video. I was thinking I was the only one who felt that way.
Janet's had more no.1's than Michael since Discipline.
Good commentary. I hate that cookout invite.
I never hand none out so I know they didn't get it from me 😐
That's because Michael Rappaport was doing the work for Les Moonves whom he worked for
Ha I been said I'm not going to this "Cookout" lol
I really like you and your analogies
I agree with you, not everyone is invited to the cookout. Good Video.
Love Mr. Michael's videos---he just tells it like it is. I've started cracking up every time I listen to one, and he's so informative on top of that, and fun as hell to listen to.
Can you do a video on your views on integration. I’ve really been researching it and talking to my grandparents that lived through and and would like to hear you view points
You were cracking me up in this video!!
You broke it down perfectly
I'm 8 minutes in and I had to subscribe 😁
Lol @ being at the cookout. You always put a smile on my face with your takes on these issues.
Michael has always been a massive suspect to me. I never got how people didn't out him YEARS ago.
Lol 😂 but sooo true!
I love you 100 real talk
He played it too well...mhm
I never did like him especially on Bravo, he thinks he knows about the black housewife's. Andy get him off, I turned it off when he shows up. I did not invite him to my cookout, never

Spice it up, people, come on.
YES PLEASE LET IT BE RICK JAMES!!!!!!
I know right!!
You are the funniest....LMAO
great video brother, the Echo is fucking my ear up a lil bit. but keep up the great content
Jane Elliot is the greatest. She will definitely have a seat at the table in the kitchen nearest the restroom her glass with sweet tea will never clear
Where the Hell is this cookout your talkin bout? I'm hungry now.
We had the white table because the school was predominantly black. You know we had a badasss band bol!
How dare u come for the queen !!!
Loved this video!
11:20 LOL!
First...Truth with some humor.

Stop with the white madness. IJS
Kid Rock cut a hole in the American flag and wore it like a poncho at the SB. Did he lose any money?
Understandable
*He missed the show...she was in his city😂😂😂😂🚪🚪🚪🚪*
I concur!!!
Jane Elliot is a REAL one!
Aqua barbie 😂😂🤣
Michael Rappaport comes off to me like a bully.
Mono and hepatitis 🤣🤣
But did Blacks invent *House Music* as well?
Yes it's essentially what evolved from Disco
Love it.
Jane Elliot is a warrior!
Subscribed!
Why was he even invited?!?
Lol!!!!!!!!!!
I need to know exactly who calls Prince a crackhead. And what white people celebrate John Lennon's birthday like that?. Stop wanting to be offended.
Too much talk publicly about bullsh--. Janet ain't thinking bout dude. She too busy counting that Arab child support money. She ain't been coming to the "cookout" for a long time now.
❤️
Lol
I think Micheal Rappaport has a black wife too. He should know better than that.
Julie Davis that’s what I thought. He should know better.
Nope wife is white
skyler wars no she’s not. His first wife was white. His current wife is black.
Doesn't matter if he has a black wife
LBJTITAN23 it doesn’t matter. I mentioned that to say he should know better because his wife is black.
Can't invite unless you're beneficial to the black community period!!!! Agree fam
You need to be more serious.
Hahaha
Hot chocolate tastes good with coconut milk ☕
I don't know shit about this cookout y'all keep talking about!
lol! rappaport, he's hardly a recent invite, though..definitely, he goes back - for 'us' - as far back as the *spike lee* films early days. 😮
Who would down vote this but your every day Trump supporter?
i can't believe this actually an issue. its not that serious
Selma exhibit A.
Selma What's not serious??? What is it you are not bothered about?
