Respected Madam, I respect you from the bottom of my heart. I request you to not to upload videos on such topic. You are unnecessary giving importance to a daily wage labour, who thinks like an OX 🐂. No need to counter him. Basically, such videos becomes a talking point for common people. He is a political man & gives political statements. THIS PARTICULAR STATEMENT WAS JUST TO DIVERT THE EYESIGHT OF THE NATION FROM "HUGE UNEMPLOYMENT", WHICH INDIA IS FACING!

Some family owned companies are so bad that this culture is extreme and people go into depression and commit suicide. Young Japanese people don't have time to make babies and start a family! Almost everyone agrees this culture is bad and it has negative affect on mental health and family life, but no one wants to change it. Success of Japan is not due to its long working hours, but due to *honest approach to work, and attention to detail of Japanese people* . I urge you to go to Japan and experience it first hand.

What everyone conveniently sweeps under the rug is this: you can’t measure an employee on the same scale as a founder. An employee signs up for a job-agreed salary, fixed hours, and deliverables. A founder? They’re on a self-inflicted, high-risk-high-reward rollercoaster. If they’re clocking 200 hours a week, that’s a personal choice. No one’s holding a gun to their head. The health risks? Their problem. The monetary rewards if they hit unicorn status? All theirs too. Fair and square.
But if you’re expecting employees to grind like a founder, you better back it up with founder-level perks. Equity? Massive rewards? A piece of that unicorn pie? Otherwise, you can’t have your cake, eat it too, and then demand employees bake you another one.

Narayan Muthy's reiteration about 70 hours work a week:
Is it to reduce the number of workers/employees, thus to reduce the overall pay bill of the organidation evrey month, so that more money saved for the corporate bosses?
What India needs is less number of working hours, engaging more unemployed, but qualified youth, so that overall unemployment problem is resolved to some extent, if not fully. Thus, more people will be able to work in India, feeding their families families in an honest and dignified manner.
In the process, freebies from the power-mongering politicians can be refused and the people can elect politicians who are sincere to serve them. Pocketing of the wealth of the nation by a few greedy politicians and corporates, cheating the people for votes, can be put an end to by showing them the door, way out.

8 - 8 - 8 assumes only 8 hours work. However in many cities, there's travel time of around 2 hours to/from office, which goes out of 'personal' or 'rest' time. In a few like Mumbai, NCR and Bangalore this travel time can be as much as 4-4.5 hours.
The fact also is today, there is significant 'mobile' time during the work hours, which adversely affects productivity
If the employees are allowed to participate in the risks and rewards of the founders as co-owners, there will be a significant growth in productivity, without having to even discuss work hours. The key is to democratise employment and turn employees into co-owners and entrepreneurs. Keep fixed payment low and provide a significant opportunity to increase variable pay and wealth.

8:47, Unfortunately we have a feudal culture in India where "workers" are seen as inferior and hence don't deserve any facilities that could make their lives comfortable cause they will cause the worker to be "distracted"... Hence absolutely no investment targeted at giving workers better tools or better working conditions ever happens... Eg: Pretty much every office or factory which has AC in the work spaces has only installed them to protect the equipments and not for employee/worker comfort...
