    Such a close race! Race runs are almost always more entertaining and with four it's four times the fun.

    Man one mistake and it is just cascades from there! I didn't even know about that last secret as this was one of my favorite games as a kid I got for my birthday!

    What did they mean by Capsule Toe during the chameleon mini boss? And why did it put tokyo ahead?

    • @NFITC1
      @NFITC1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      There's a frame where you can move forward where the capsule moves you up with it (either that or it's a subpixel thing). It saves the time of jumping into the capsule since you're already level with it. It didn't put anyone in the lead, they just playfully say the "run is invalid" if you don't get that trick.

      Clipping into the capsule with Mega Man's toe so that he was standing on the edge of the capsule. The "it puts Tokyo in the lead" bit was a joke about it, since it's a nil in terms of real time saving.

    What did they mean when they said Soppa was disqualified? First time watching this run

    • @Snow1482
      @Snow1482 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      it was a joke, he failed to do a silly trick that would've saved him next to no time, but it's a cool looking trick so if you miss it your run becomes "invalid"

    Hmm I wonder why the megaman X collection wasn't used, is it less efficient or something like that ?

    • @Raziel_Zero
      @Raziel_Zero 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Original versions (especially Japanese) tend to have more bugs to exploit and/or a bit less text than later versions. I'm guessing it's true for MMX too.

      @StraightEdgeJunkie 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@Raziel_Zero Incorrect. The only difference between US and J versions is the faster text in J. No other differences. And the Mega Man X collection version wasn't used because it's a different game. It's not comparable with the original SNES game. And this was a speedrun race of the SNES release.
