idk ab other VRs but the valve index base stations shoot thousands of tiny lasers per second and they track movement very precisely. Its not the controllers that track movement.

@@WSH3TM the lighthouses are just "beacons" emitting rays that the headset and controllers pick up to track themselves (the controllers have well hidden infrared sensors). the lighthouses dont talk with the pc or the headset, they are completely standalone and don't track anything by themselves
