Its been nice checking out some creatures i havent tamed in a while! What other creatures do you want me to tame? Server Info ➜ bit.ly/SynMedievalArk Patreon ➜ www.patreon.com/SyntacGaming
fun fact: the moose actually does have a bleed attack and it is the most op of all bleeds since it is 20 SECONDS! its only for wild moose tho so you will most likely never experience it. i discovered this when i ate a bunch of rare flowers and caused a moose to aggro me.
I think a kick that slows for a second or 2, call the debuff "concussed", would be nice for megaloceros, make the male and female more useful and allow you to escape dangers easier, and of course smooth out the female's head. Call the moose "SirThatchAlot"!!
That wolf crowd surfing moment was awesome! Syn kills his tames a lot but I would've not been so calm if that was happening to me with the wolves and shooting the mammoth to free yourself. Saved the horse. Smart move.
This is honestly probably my favorite series that Syntac has done, I play on official servers so I like the PvP stuff and the fact that he is playing with other people... keep it up, I need more!
Fun fact: He actually rides on a, now extinct, Irish elk. They are the biggest elk and if you go to a museum in Ireland, you can see the collosal size of the head.
Totes name him Thranduil after the king of elves in Mirkwood. His crown reminds me of deer antlers and he also happens to ride into battle on a megaloceros.
Yeah I think they should get at tlc like a weight buff for wood gathering but the bleed would be nice to see. It would just suck since them having bleed would kill all your tames in when you’re in early game.
Anytime I start on a new server I take a doedic an anky a trike a beaver and a megaloceros. Makes life a lot easier not having to grind to bad for building resources
Is the titanboa tame able because even dough it would be a pain to tame because of the eggs you could use them to maybe fight NPCs (hint hint. A snake hunting herd.
Faithful steed Gallahad..? Love your content Syntac, especially you Jim & Evo on Atlas .. love all you guys not forgetting Axe & Cheese keep up the good work dude 😁👍👍🤘🤘 P.s Medieval series is funny af
Funny you brought up the bleed as the Better Dinos mod actually adds a bleed effect to the male megaloceros' main attack. XD Would be nice if they had a kick though and the model was made bigger to actually represent just how big they were. Since the larger species could push a solid 6ft 7in at the withers approximately. Having a massive stag which could cause bleed and kick in ARK would be much better.
This was a great video, love the thumbnail! I've always loves this dino, it always looked so majestic 😎 dropped a sub earlier in the week, loving the ark vids!!
I think a pheromone attack that would aggro other megaloceros on your enemy or something maybe that would de-aggro bears or aggro wolves or something would be cool
For the megaloceros, I feel they should have a herd, a male leader or two, and with a herd defense boost they’ll have from the females. They’re defense could be their heads aimed down and potentially to stab small creatures and you when you are close enough. Maybe even a possible chance of a stun if you don’t get impaled. For an interesting taming method should even be passive tame of the offsprings that’s in the herd. The females could help find wild potatoes, and carrots like wolves do with carcasses, and they could have a special ability of a harvest chance for them in bushes and rare flowers and mushrooms.
im fairly sure that it is actually closer to a moose than a deer when you take its antlers into account. Moose have the flat plate like antlers that the Megaloceros have, deer dont... though i suppose its really up to the person to decide what they want to call it.
As far as a TLC pass on "deer" I'd like to see an updated model, like how they updated the textures on Direwolves, gave them actual fur. The running animation looks good regarding the overall movement of the head and legs, but it could be refined a little to make it feel like the deer's feet aren't dragging so close to the ground. They look like they're about to trip on anything that comes up under their feet. (But alas, I am not an artist or animator, so I can't say if these are valid suggestions.) But I like to keep a Megaloceros handy, too, even at higher levels. I've named him "Milo" since he collects "Thatch." Reference to Disney's Atlantis. lol
Tame another terror bird or another megalania or a Carno please. Also to maybe help some other people answer this question but can you maybe like make a list of the Dinos you’re allowed to tame maybe on insta or a YT vid or a comment thanks. Edit:I did not think the comment was gonna be this long
not likely. I have seen him do Rockwell more than a few times. Plus he can simply save, and reset the server to before the fight. He is more than likely burning out, from a commitment of 100 videos and just wants to play for a while.
I wish ark could add a megalceros and the moose male thing but if those two could stay together and have a baby fawn next to them and if they get alerted they would run away that would be great
The megaloceros is in a way a moose because the old english word for what is now called a moose was elk and the megaloceros is called the Irish elk and the genus is home to the largest deer to ever exist
The Stegos def need a TLC. I think they need a speed increase (its honestly ridiculous how slow they are) a health boost (They're large herbivores and their plates already decrease damage they take, why not give them a bit more health?) As well as a weight boost. (It even says in the dossier they're used as caravan animals, and once again they're larger herbivores. Maybe even a special saddle with bags on the side to increase carry weight, or decrease the weight of certain items.) Their spikes need to cause bleed damage (I mean jeez, look how big those tail spikes are) And I think they need a skewer ability like the Kentros have. (It only makes sense, again look at the size comparison between Kentros and Stegos, as well as the fact that Stegos should be able to skewer larger targets than the Kentro.) That's just my thoughts on what 1 herbivore needs, alot of others need some love as well but I think the Stego more than most.
A creature you should tame syntac is a dimorph if you can because of ur settings because one of the last times I think you tamed a dimorph is when they did the kibble rework and you did a video on it in ur cluster server.
I think there body is very bulky and could slim it up maybe a bit taller to and like a heal when they eat and harvest berries and a kick that can stun smaller dinos or a call that can spawn in other ones like the ut
When deers fight they can stand up on their hind legs and keep smacking each other with their front legs. I guess it would hurt to get punched with huge moosedeer hooves. And it would work for both male and female models.
The females should have a bleed attack with a buck attack, I dunno what's it called when a hoofed animal uses their front legs on kicking... 'Cuz deer in the wild especially when cornered, would mostly impale you to death with their hooves.
They could make the male megaloceros be able to attack (example: goring with the antlers rather than just slapping with them) and not the female but they can run faster than the male and jump longer or higher

I'm curious where this series is going to go. I'm really interested!
Thranduil, elvenking of mirkwood rides to battle on a giant moose.
Fun fact: He actually rides on a, now extinct, Irish elk. They are the biggest elk and if you go to a museum in Ireland, you can see the collosal size of the head.
He is also my favourite character in the while Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit trilogy.
@@nicklpantis the Megaloceros IS the Irish Elk. Thranduil literally rides around in an extinct species.
Totes name him Thranduil after the king of elves in Mirkwood. His crown reminds me of deer antlers and he also happens to ride into battle on a megaloceros.
He's my favourite character in all of the Lord Of The Rings and Hobbit trilogy. 😏
Great series probably one of my favorite series you did keep it up
“Herbivores should have a bleed”
17:17 yeah a therizino should have a bleed haha haha

Name suggestion for the Megalceros: Bullwinkle. Like the old cartoon.
