I own Kushaq, I can see clear difference with Skoda and other cars on the turns. On Highways I can go easily at 70-80 speeds with so much confidence. But I can observe Hyundai and other cars try to brake on the same turns. These cars provide a lot of confidence for sure.
depends on driver.. I drive a Mahindra, and never seen 1, just 1 Skoda or VW overtake me.. I am from Mumbai and see them quite often.. also I have driven all over India so I must have come across many VW/Skoda drivers.. does that make Mahindra better?!!!
If you really want to enjoy German cars try 1.0 cars. Polo ameo vento rapid. Stability, breaks, fun to drive element are there. Definitely my next would be again from 1.0 Reson:- breaks are very powerfull. High speed stability. High speed electronics sensitive stearing. There car boom specifically when it comes to close call.
This is misinformation at its peak. The VW 2.0 cars drive better than the 1.0 Polo/Vento. I have owned Polo and I own Taigun GT now. The driving dynamics are better in Taigun! The steering is slightly lighter but it’s more precise and direct than polo. Also the 1.5tsi engine on 2.0 cars is something else. The older 1.2/1.0tsi/1.5tdi were good but no match for the 1.5tsi.
Braking is compromised because of thicker and bigger tyres. If you size up so much then you should upgrade your brakes as well. Slavia and Virtus both have the best brakes despite Verna having disk brakes.
Bro can you teach us the concept of rev matching, I always like to learn new ways by which I could become better drive each and everyday. It's not necessary for many people.....but just because I like to drive fast so wanna know as how to make turns without losing much speed and jerk while downshifting.
@@Slaviaguy the only sad thing about VW, they could have atleast provided all discs for GT or style variants. Apart from this you have an amazing driving skill bro..
Can you pls make a video on how to do hill starts without stalling for a turbo charged engine ? How is your Slavia's clutch considering you use it a lot in hilly areas ?
Bro depends on where you live and what kind of car you want. These both are way different cars bro and different segment cars. If you want a big car, big sunroof, good performance, good mileage and you have a good parking space and road to your home is also good and wide then surely go for XUV700, you will never regret it.
Two questions: Do you think higher ground clearance has something to do with slightly poor stability? Did your ground clearance increase after fitting the larger tyres? Or did you get it reduced?
See brother there are two aspects of this firstly the calibration of company’s suspension. If it is calibrated to a stiffer side the stability will be more but if it is calibrated to softer side then the stability will be little low. Secondly if you increase your ride height using spacers then there are 99% chance that you will feel a lot of changes in your drive experience because the stability will decrease and the aesthetics of car will also change. Lastly about getting a larger wheel will also change the stability but in my case I have managed to match the company’s wheel height and also my tyres are now wider so the stability is very much high than before. The only drawback I noticed after getting 17inches wheels is that my ride is now very stiff and cabin noise is more. Hope I was able to clear your doubts.
@@Slaviaguy Ah right your tyre profile is smaller than stock tyres which compensated the increase height due to larger wheels. Any specific reason your ride became stiffer? Did you make any changes to the suspension?
I had one question. I am in the market for my very first car. Slavia is at the top of my list. One thing I have observed with VAG clutches is the long clutch travel and the biting point being in the last stages of clutch travel. Also changing gears felt a bit clunky. Didn't feel this in the Verna Turbo MT. Is this true for new cars or was it just the case with the Demo vehicles which see a lot of rough usage ? Is it something that you can get used to as a new driver ? Also, have you faced any EPC issues, rattling noises or issues with your clutch in Slavia ?
Yes brother see there are issues with 1.5MT. I had to give my car to service station 3 times for clutch parts replacement and in first and second attempt they were unable to resolve my problem. I still have problems with my clutch even after third time repair but now I am managing somehow and soon I will have to give my car to service centre again. Rattling noises are very much in this car and fit finish is also not perfect. Its just that it is a classy car and power it generates is too much and you will smile everytime you will pull this car.
Bro, I like Kushaq & planning to buy one, Bit concerned about service & service station. the Skoda service center from my home is 125km away. is it good?
See bro Kushaq is absolutely a great car and about service station and dealership firstly look for reviews on google and ask someone nearby who owns the car of same brand. The service period or interval in skoda is of 15000km/1 year so if you have to travel for 125kms in 1 year than I don’t guess that will be an issue.
When you go on road and drive any vehicle, first rule is drive safe for yourself and for others, but seems you violates very first rules of driving which is driving in lane (lanes has purpose that's why lanes are there) and how to change lane. Throughout video you even couldn't manage to drive in lane. If turns are sharp reduce speed but no. you keep changing lane like every second without caring about others in front and behind. Driving is not about pressing accelerator, anyone can do that. Driving is all about drive with responsibility. This kind of driving is the reason why India has lot of accidents and because of this kind of driving, other people suffer who drive safely.
Bro not available in this size. Blue earth is available in this size but that tyre is not that well built. Yokohama Advan is an option but it is way too costly. Costs around 18k per tyre.
Continental is not for a long life. It is for low noise as it is softer. If that's not your requirement, then you should have chosen a different tyre. Tyres are not bad. Your choice for your application was wrong.
