Correction: In the video, Josh mentions the 03-05 Headlights using D3R and the new headlights using D3S bulbs. These are actually D2R and D2S, respectively.

I just want to clarify for buyers who didn't know like myself but these new headlights require D2S and not D3S like the mechanic in the building says, it is noted on the products page but just in case people who watch the video get confused.
Facts, trip to auto had me watching it a second time then I knew something weren’t right
THIS is the video I was searching for! I couldn’t figure out how to feed the igniter through the headlight because it is simply too big. In this video you showed that you have to take apart and disconnect the igniter so as to take the igniter off and feed the cable through. Thanks! I wasn’t taking the igniter apart because of the warning label on the ballast that says you can die from opening it lol.
Was not aware you could use 06 headlights in 03 350z. They look good.
You have good tasteful mods on the car. $600 for new headlights is not bad but definitely makes me want to just reclear my factory to save money
You need d3s instead of d2s, not instead of d3r. The R stands for reflector and s for projector. So you need the "S" Type bulps. You can also reuse d2s i think

Hi , how about the connectors from this car 6 pins to 8 pins ? Are they the same 03 from 08 ? Did you need a converter?
Do they shine in asymmetrical pattern for RHD cars, like most cars in Europe do?
If you’re using the original ballast and bulb holder then why would you get a different style bulb?
My passenger headlight is a snug fit. My driver headlight isn’t though? When I put In my driver headlight it didn’t line up on a screw all the way so when I have my lights on at night you can see it aiming down a bit. Any solution?

So I just received these headlight housings and I noticed in this video you mentioned that it requires D3S bulbs but in the product description on your site it says it requires D2S bulbs. So which bulb size do these headlight housings really need?!
I'm wondering that same thing right now since I just spent $300 on D2S based on the product descriptions everywhere. The 3157A turn signal bulbs don't fit either - those are also the suggested size.
I think I'll be returning these lenses since they cost a shit ton.

Get all the bulbs out, And shake the water out. Try to dry as much of the water as possible with some kind of cloth, other wise it will leave a water mark/spots :(
I tried to be fast and let a fan dry it but that’s exactly what caused the water marks :(
Also like he said replace the O-rings and make sure you screw everything evenly. Again if you don’t water can get in

I have a 2005 350z with factory HID low beams and Halogen high beams, will these be plug and play?
On the 05 with factory HIDs, the turn signal bulb is different (the 06-08, Depo or OEM, use 3157NA bulb) and the HID bulb is a D2S (03-05 is D2R). So you'll need a couple of different bulbs, but your ballast and harness will transfer over.

I found a way also found a tutorial on TH-cam you can buy or use your old connector and covert the 8 pin from the depo to your 6 pin look it up I was literally trying to figure it out for the longest and finally found it ( 8pin to 6 pin conversion)

Where can I find that front bumper? I have an 03 350z in Le Mans Sunset aswell and I've been looking for a similar style bumper but I keep hearing bad things about fitment with almost all of them.

@@callofduty3813 I just bought a sec pair and they are doing the same thing. I found out it is a dual filament bulb. Meaning it works as a parking light as well. I'll post a video I came across explaining this. The guy talks about it @ 9:37 check it out good knowledge. Link Below

Is it possible to upgrade the turn signals with LEDs? If so which ones do you recommend?
You can you just need to buy a resistor and splice it into the harness, otherwise you’ll get “hyper flash” when you put your turn signals on.

it does not, that's just the color temp of the bulb one is just slightly bluer than the other

everything is a direct swap for 2006 to 2008 headlights. only the older style lights need the bulbs swapped

@@everlasting1237 I found the oem Nissan ones for like $8 each, but I decided to try my luck at home depot and these worked perfectly for like $3 for 10 screws.

@@everlasting1237 my bad I completely forgot to check. I went to homedepot and got a 10 pack of phillips screw size: #8 x 1in .. Those worked perfectly for me
you forgot to wire the ground cable again to the new headlights!!!

Airol Mabilog So that day it started I went to go wash my car and the inside got cloudy after, after a week the condensation never came back it was so weird, I went to go wash my car the next week and I was annoyed that It was going to come but it never did
Airol Mabilog first thing I did was take the headlight off the car and opened it up from the headlight cover and all that fog just started coming out , not sure how it would help but it was a pain in the ass for me at first.

D2s bulb you mean?
You are correct! 03-05 style HIDs use a D2R bulb, the 06-08 (including DEPO) uses the D2S bulb. We caught this after uploading, but TH-cam removed the ability to add annotations, so we weren't able to add an in-video correction. Good lookin' out!

In the video he said it came with everything and when I went online it sells the o ring separate even the bulbs
They're meant exclusively for the 06-08, and with those cars, they don't require anything else, you just swap everything over from your original.
Do these lights work with a 2005 350z?
As long as it came with factory HIDs they do fit. In fact, they'll fit any year with HIDs. It's only the cars with halogen headlights they aren't compatible with.
Just saying these are trash, they look nice but at night the wiring in these are so bad or something is bad even with really nice headlights they don’t shine as bright as OEM

Gotta change my headlights but these are illegal in Europe, they don't have the fucking E symbol... A new pair from Nissan is more than 5000 euros so..... Depo it is!
Nice lights, ridiculously priced. $500 plus bulbs, etc. I will scrub the lenses on my old lights or buy a cheaper chinese alternative. Not convinced that spending more in this case gets you higher quality.
