    That looked very exciting. Hope my car is half as exhilarating as that when it's done. Thanks for the in-car footage.

    The flat shafter is starting to work well for you. You can get an auto blip for them I think for down shafting. I would just love a run in that yoke she is some thing to go. Thanks for bringing us along for the spin Matt.

      I have a mechanical down blipper I made for this that works on, dose need a little more RPM on the blip I think so I shall adjust that before I use it again

      Thanks buddy I’m glad you enjoyed it. Shame there was so much traffic for me, if I had a empty track it would of been nice to see how quick I could lap

    Good position for the camera, so many people just show the rear view mirror.

      @skidmores.garage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I leave the camara case in the car so I know it’s in a good spot. I was thinking about moving it back a little so you could see more of the driving position but this way you can see the wheel shifter and feet so not much more needed

    Just wondering if you could show us the camera mounting arrangement and the camera settings. I have been mucking around with a gopro 10 in my mini but not yet happy with the results. Still loving your vids.

    • @skidmores.garage

      Glad you liking the videos mate. This is a GoPro 4 from wired GoPro remotes Astro as that gave it me as they setbth for best results in car. I am ordering a 5 of them as well. I have heard most ppl aren’t happy with the 9 and 10 that’s why I stick with the 4 and getting a 5 so I can have the telemetry on the screen

    Beautiful work, excellent driving. What is even the point of that gear indicator if 3rd and neutral are both 0, and sometimes it decides not to display 6th? At 9:52 it just randomly counted from 4 to 6 on its own as you were going through the turn😂

    • @skidmores.garage
      @skidmores.garage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yer it used to work perfectly, the sensor that picks up the gear position on the shift drum is failing, it’s common on the busa engine so gives wrongs readings

    The adjustment wasn’t the problem with the first issue: you didn’t shift hard enough and got a false neutral. Your fault, not the technology.

    • @skidmores.garage
      @skidmores.garage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yer I agree mate, the false neutrals are me for sure

    • @skidmores.garage
      @skidmores.garage  ปีที่แล้ว

      The adjustments I was making was to the cut timing start and duration as it wasn’t letting go of the gear correctly

    How did the new chain stand up to testing?

    • @skidmores.garage
      @skidmores.garage  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey bud it lasted the day without any adjustments. I took the car straight to my mates place to store it so haven’t had a chance to have a good look at it but I do need to just to see how it lasted. I might book another track day to run it again see how it last

    • @Lost13mm
      @Lost13mm ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@skidmores.garage If its anything like mine it lasts far far longer than the drag chain.
      Did you find you needed to set a different delay time for the shifter for 3 - 4th changes? I have a shifter working on a PC5 it works great on all gears except that one. I'm now sorting out a speed feed to the PV5 so it know what gear it is in so I can set longer delay for that change.

      @@Lost13mm it dose play up on the 5-6 shift, it dose need a little more playing with I just ran out of time
