Yes it’s definitely a beautiful place 👍🏻 Take your time rest up and come back bigger and better than ever, we will be here ready to support you again Take care guys Kind regards Nigel WMH Team 🇦🇺
You are very lucky I've never seen a Cassowary in the wild and I'm Australian. In fact probably most other Aussies haven't seen one either so take that as a positive and good luck with the rest of your travels 👍
Haha we've heard it rains a lot there. I actually wasn't even thinking about snakes at that point (Jordan), I was more focused on the crocodile part, but usually i am quite good at keep an eye out for snakes 🤦🏽♀️😂 Will remember this comment in the future, thank you haha ❤️
So sorry for your loss Bad luck with the Camera 🎥 hope it can be fixed or sometimes you may be able to buy a second hand one my Daughter did when she took up photography 👵🏼🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😘😘
My friends have experienced white water rafting and they had a lot of fun . I am sorry you camera broke . You had a bit of bad luck during your journey . I hope things get better for you .
Sorry that that your camera broke guys but dont stress about it "she'll be right" whatever happens happens whether you worry or not.. I, m pretty confident that you are going to be uploading your videos again but even if you dont thats no reason not to complete your big lap. You have really only just started on the journey what you experience once you get away from the coast will be completely different and you are going to see just how vast and empty Australia is. When you leave Cairns take the Gillies Hwy from Gordonvale to Yungaburra drop into Herberton up on the table lands and make sure that you check out their Pioneer village. On your trip across the Savanah Way call into the Uldara Lava Tubes in the Volcanic NP near Mount Surprise. you can camp at the Udana resort itself or at the Bedrock Caravan Park in Mt Surprise as they are licensed do day trips out to the Tubes which is really good. When you reach Normanton drive the extra 40kms out to Karumba and stay in the town or better still out on the Point. When you leave that area take the development road from Normanton down to Cloncurry if you dont want to do it in one big hit you can camp at the Bourke and Wills Roadhouse. You are leaving it late in the year to be travelling in the tropics and the outback .- summer along with the wet season is only just around the corner and life wont be pleasant with the heat, flies and road access into different areas being closed due to flooding...Some tourist attractions in the far north will shut down at the end of October and not reopen again until March. Summer would probably be a good time for you to look for some work further south to finance buying a new camera and getting ready to resume your lap in March.
Thank you so much for you comment. We are just re assessing some things and will hopefully have a camera soon, it’s just they aren’t cheap and will impact our plans significantly but we will update you all when we can
Can't you just use your phone? Some are capable of amazing footage? What actually broke on the camera? I dropped mine off the tripod and ended up with a 3 piece lens!!! I hope you can get it fixed quickly and cheaply or just buy a used camera?
Unfortunately our phones are quite old and not really capable - especially as we want to keep up with the standard of footage we have been getting lately… something inside the camera has broken and it’s completely unusable at the moment, we can get it repaired but the closest shop that can do it is in Brissy
Oh dear that is so disappointing. Feeling for you. Will miss your wonderful vlogs. Here's hoping that it will not be long. Rest up.
Hopefully it won't be long, but we will be back one day 🤞🏼 Will keep you all updated ❤️

Tully if it isn't raining it is about too. When walking up there watch the ground don't turn around.. Snakes are hard to spot sometimes.
