- Me and my good Friend Intern Byron went for a little trip out to Hathaway bridge for some Mangrove snapper . I got rewarded with a nice sheepshead and 5 keeper mangroves , the next day me and @TheLawlessTide went to the same are targeting redfish! All in all it was an awesome time and I really appreciate everyone watching the video. Please like and subscribe so I can reach more people .

Nice catch my man!!! Better be glad the game warden did not pull up on you. You can only keep five Mangrove Snapper per day...looks like you have 8. That could have cost you almost 400 bucks and ruined your fishing trip for sure!!!!!

Hi do you have any idea of a place that may rent some kayaks and gear to try this type of fishing I’m going to be down there in a few weeks and would love to try fishing like this with my boys but all I can find is charter boats.

Was he jigging that gold spoon up and down near the bridge pylon or straight retrieve like one the flats?
You can jig it or straight retrieve , it works great both ways. For the flats my favorite lure is a white paddle tails on a 1/4 oz jig head! Great for reds and trout

@@austinh681 late fall and early summer are my favorite times ! And really anytime the tide is falling out really hard you can catch them there. Just have to be in the right spot! I appreciate you watching the videos man!!

Really just depends on where you are fishing ! Shallow grass flats go with 1/4oz deeper water like where I’m fishing here in this video go with a littl heavier
