I love delta cams, I build turbo honda engines and use his 272 grind he offers for them on all my builds. Cant beat it for the money and the customer service is great Jon is a good guy for sure.

Are you making more power than stock camshaft?

Are you haveing to retune the ECU with a 272 grind?
Ls pr3 pistons made 180 and yes you will need a tune.
Cam regrinds have many benefits over off the shelf in the sense that your less likely to have been given the wrong Cam or grind. Less variation as well. How often you order a cam but its different when you look at the card. Regrinds reharden the surface to assist with run in so no issues. Only thing to take note of is the geometry can change so you sometimes need to play around with push rods etc.

I had messaged Jon about his regrind delta 272 b series non vtec camshaft not making power. We tested the stock b series non vtec camshaft and it made more power than his delta regrind 272 b series non vtec.

@@maldo72 Interested in your thoughts about the LS7 lifters and the Tick valve springs. I have unknown pac beehive springs and pac titanium retainers, and I think it ran into valve float the other night at the track. Adding the 1.6 roller speedmaster roller rockers, the car did not improve ET or MPH wise.
I think the Tick double Valve spring package from Tick is a killer deal for a stock LT1 head and should be able take anything a street car can throw at it (Note: after having them in my hands their in house retainers at top notch)... I have never had problems LS7 lifters (they were used in my last setup ) (don't buy china knock offs)... I am guessing if you added 1.6 rockers and nothing improved you were probably getting valve float sooner which will not improve et/mph ...
@@maldo72 Funny, I noticed a pop on the first pass as I held out trying to get the motor to struggle bus up to 6200 where the shift light was set at. 2nd and 3rd pass I shifted at ~5600. Basically repeated the first pass. 3rd pass I had plugged in my digital 6AL box to see if it would help. It didn't and the car slowed. My fear of buying LS7 lifters is finding real vs the china knockoffs that are all over Ebay and Amazon.

Yeap he is the man he did one for my geo tracker and i can say my Geo tracker sounds gd and healthy and pull hard in mid range rpm and today i send him another cam for my CRX honda a 272 cam gd enough for me to play in the streets jon is a gd old boy i call him the man for poor people his price and work is beautiful not that many like him around anymore ford Chevy Dodge etc used to make cars muscle cars for everyone to buy and enjoy now only for middle class and rich people and here we come with four bangers with junkyards combo from Hondas Toyotas rotary Mazda Nissan and bit the crap of them jjjj a bit up Chinese rice bitting the crap of rich people muscle cars porch lambo Ferrari etc and jon help us get up there with cams from natural to turbo and believe me out here you will see bit up vw bug with twin turbo Subaru engines you will see rotary engines turbos on Suzuki samurai as well with k24 honda combo turbo and old civics that really fly mostly junkyards combos and homemade head bores different springs head gasket etc and like i say jon help us a lot with prices and quality to have fun and compete with the big boys jjjj 😁 and all this combos run on gas no alcohol well gd video amigo take care

We the Ricans love Delta cams in Toyota geo tracker hondas he really do the best job out there for poor people like us out here in the streets that love to have fun with our toys we have d honda motors that we hook up with junkyards parts and delta cams and we love all motor and poor muscle cars and vtec and turbo cars and we made them home made from junkyards most our time but we love to see all this big boys faces when our little engines bit the crap out of them jjjjjj CCR born in the byouooooo 😊we even have duel points fuel injectors systems doing 160 mhp in the highway fast real fast light weight and some old school style knowledge plus a lighter flywheel and gd bronze clutch make a big difference with gd head job and bigger valves and 72 tb delta cam delivered gd gd cam gd people like i said we are old school style out here all motor i call delta the Appalachian blood line old gd boy for us the poor people real simple he knows what we nd and how we work junkyards parts we work with what we have if not we make it happen and like i say delta is our bro out here and we live la vida loca embracing death like life from highway to side walks and valleys no matter we enjoy life and out toys in the streets CCR born in the byouooooo bro gd video delta is the man for us out here the rest are crap only propagandas and computer crap really we eat them for lunch dinner and breakfast we kp our car in 1600 pounds to ramble easy money 💰💰 and we deal only with delta cams the rest they can kp it take care gd video

If you have a dual cam, yes it like either the same price more or less. For my f22a single cam regrind, it is $200 for them to regrind and deliver on my doorstep. Whereas if i went with a bisimoto cam, it’d cost anywhere from $400-$700 for 1 cam.
