2017 Janke Award: Meagan Weisner

Meet Principal Investigator Meagan Weisner, an awardee of CES’ Walter and Lalita Janke Innovations in Sustainability Science Research Fund, which is a fund dedicated to supporting faculty research that advances knowledge and applications relevant for improving environmental sustainability. Meagan is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geosciences at Florida Atlantic University. Her research focuses on drinking water disparities and socio-economic inequalities in urban areas. She has a strong background in cultural anthropology, environmental justice and human rights issues within the United States.
