LA Sanitation East Valley Open House 2024

On May 04, 2024 I made the 2+ hour drive up to LA Sanitation East Valley Open House. Had a lot of fun operating trucks and meeting other enthusiasts. The most interesting truck out was the white 520 EV Amrep which was capable of being zipped when lowering. Also 37222, 37033, and 36406 were out for demonstrations. They had a FL 36451 and an RL 37086 out as well for display only. Unfortunately the Condor Octo 36902 had broken down and was waiting to receive some parts so it was not running demonstrations but was there in the back to look at. They also had 2 of their little Ford New Way RL's and a Isuzu New Way RL rental doing ride along tours of the yard. This was my first time attending an open house and it certainly will not be my last. Very much worth driving 5 hours in a day. Also met LA Danny ‪@BackToTheFun‬ . Enjoy!

350 trash with usual driver, 443 organics with regular as well, and 366 sub recycling. Saw 454 on recycling across the street
