Because JK understands the conditioned mind due to having great insight/intelligence he remains calm no matter the questions, never becomes offensive. His responses are clear and from what I've discovered indeed a place beyond thinking/thoughts and time and this is the place he wants us to discover, not remain with man's (die to man made reality) reality but to discover life's reality, the actual/truthful only reality.
As we cannot know ourselves by thoughts or words, thus we cannot explain it by thoughts or words and for that the actions born out of self-awareness are beyond everything we ever know. 👀🗿
Karma yoga. Doing work without any expectation of result. Lord Krishna says ," Do your duty. Do not bother about the result of your action. Leave it to me." That is complete surrender to the Lord, which brings about a lot of desirable, observable, permanent changes in a human being.
I love how the lady holds up her own to K. This is not to take sides in the discussion, but she trusts her own conviction and yet is willing to engage in dialogue with a spirit of inquiry. And that is exactly what K would have wanted one to do.
Knowledge is always incomplete. There cannot be a scientific theory which totally explains what a grain of sand is. It's immeasurable. Theories are always replaced by new theories and discoveries. Who am I? Can there be a theory to totally answer that question? I am the immeasurable. Is there a separation between the immeasurable and the immeasurable? Are there two immeasurables? Separation exists only in the field of images, which are the results of knowledge, which is always incomplete. So, separation is always based on “what is not”. So simple!
@@img008 I agree with JamesButler5908. It's not that once you let go of attachment now, you will ever be in the same condition. I can let go of attachment for a brief period and enjoy a simple mind; however, after some time, my mind goes back to what it is conditioned for. That's because the mind is conditioned for a longer time, and it takes several attempts to understand how deeply it's conditioned and several realizations to get there
Their is weakness reflecting in the very accepting of upcoming insight as per my interpretation on this conversation. That weakness if examine will tell you that in present you're not insightful and later you can, since you've accepted it just by listening to K, it means that you are prompted again for something seemingly, and now you want to act upon it, that means since birth you've never tried to really inquire and now its time.... As per my interpretation i would like to comment on this - when we were young, innocent, free of preconceptions about definitions, literature, explanations and the rest of it, we really had enquired about everything, and we were real self of us and now the miseries have taken over the essence of the real being, we listen to the news and do our rituals, repeat the same and hence its lost somewhere, so i guess particularly its just another chase for something rather than developing the continuous maturity over everything, Their are those who've never listened to k, they and us are one and the same if we think that k is unbiased and so one should listen to him instead of someone else. K says that the speaker is not the authority.
Learning is not a gradual process because it is unlike becoming something, this learning won't make one a learned person, learning is basically direct perception that can be done only now, people seek a system to learn only because the have an idea about learning which they hope to achieve in future
Yes, to know oneself, popular parlance in healing, growth and recovery terms. But what does that even mean? K brings forth a knowing oneself where the rubber meets the road. Not a knowing oneself in projection of thought as contoured by conditions. Such a knowing can be shaded in hogwash. To actively observe, the thought process renders in natural rhythm and reveals subtle aspects of compulsion, fears, anxieties and perhaps even- strengths 💪.

Yes , that must be my first job, to know myself. Gradually we know others, but very much blind about our self .😢
thank you Sir 🙏
Thanks for the sharing the love of truth, to guide us. Love and courage to all to come here.

She is a Buddhist scholar and she thinks she "knows", and if someone thinks " that he/she knows then discussion and enquiry cannot happen.
K's mind is in a state to deal with conditioned minds without becoming offensive what so ever

That is the only criticism I have of K.i don't think he has a deeper insight into the deep rooted of the conditioned mind,I agree with that lady😮
If you agree you are deeply conditioned, then you’ll never understand the simple mind. Simplicity breeds beauty. So, let go of attachment NOW
Relationship is corruption?@@img008

This is the conditioned state we were born into, man made world/mind

doesn't knowing yourself need facts to react on? being deeply attentionned about ones inner self?
