Bro you're THE GUY in terms of what I want to become in terms of Videography with cars and bikes, and the look of the videos. I don't understand why you don't have more subscribers yet. I'm going to get that LUT Pack for shure. Keep the work up G💪🏽
You've sold me! I came across your videos not too long ago, fell in love with your edits/style and this video def helps a ton to achieve the same or even a similar look! Consider your pack purchased!!
Love this video! I’m an after effects king and never understood the concept of nodes until you said they’re basically adjustment layers. I also put my Lut’s on an adjustment layer and set the opacity to 50% sometimes 60%. Mad respect. ❤
Absolutely man! I was the same, I used to be 100% premier and after effects and was so scared to move to Davinci because of this NODE system. But after using it for sometime, I never thought I’d say it. I actually prefer for colour grading. Other normal editing and FX I prefer the layers and stuff in after effects.
I bought the pack to support you as got so many helpful tips from your videos. I didn't think I would actually use the LUTs; but damn! Looks like all my vids will get shot in flat and pulled into Premier from now on! They are wicked! So easy to use and great results! Thanks!!
Also may I ask do you think it’s better shooting action camera footage in DLOG or natural settings. I have an action 4. Same question for iPhone footage too. Appreciate you
No problem at all man!! And yes, if you understand how to use LOG footage and how to grade it properly like I mentioned in my video, it does produce a better colour graded image in the end. But personally, I usually just shoot standard picture profile on my action cameras and on my phone (my phone doesn’t have LOG) because it’s just more efficient. Sometimes I will use FLAT/LOG on my action cameras though.
Just in time for the Lut pack let's gooooooo. Got my Superduke back on the road today after 2 months off because of countless part delays then both my cages breaking in the same week 😭😭😭
Bro yesss!! That’s so good to hear man, I know the feeling being off the bike for that long. Remember to ride safe and enjoy the Lut pack if you end up buying it! 🤝
Thank you bro!! I found them on chrome burner in stock with my size luckily, chrome burner actually has had them in stock a couple times recently. They might even have some sizes right now , go quick!
super helpful tutorial! i've been color grading for a few years but trying to transition over to shooting only log, any tips for getting the correct exposed log footage in camera? seen a few people use zebras, etc. but wondering if there's a quicker way for when i'm shooting off-road/travel footage (similar to your stuff) 🤝
I'm wondering why using a diffrent lut for each individual and adding the same lut for all clips in the end on top? Wouldnt it make sense to grade them all with the same from the beginning ?
If I understand correctly, you can add the conversion lut directly from davinci like you did on the Sony LOG footage also on a DJI action 4 D-LOG footage?
Hey I binge watch your videos and you inspired me to get into videography with riding! How would applying your LUTs and colour grading at night time in general work? My footage seems to be quite dark ( Go pro Hero 12 ) with your settings. Seems like grading doesn't do much? ''This is POV videos btw'' Thank you Sir!
Thanks so much man!! Check out this video here if you haven’t seen it already, I talk about how I edit my night footage towards the end. This is with the Ace Pro though which is much better at low light then GoPro… still might be able to get something out of it th-cam.com/video/49H67piahsc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hrErQkdEgJ6r-cAw
@@JayJankulovski No worries! and yes I have seen this video but as you said the Go pro isn't that good at night time. Would there be anything I can do for it to still look somewhat cinematic and watchable like the ace pro is?
I'm new to color grading, trying out many ways, even playing with settings before shooting. But I see that you barely use any settings on action cameras, am I right? Because most of us don't have a team to shoot us from different angles, our main camera is an action camera. I tried many settings to get the cinematic look, but somehow, it feels like there is no one setting that suits all. Which makes our ride less enjoyable. So I guess I am gonna stick to default settings from the camera just like you did :D OR if you have any suggestions, please let us know via another video :D By the way, I'm definitely getting this pack so that I can try to make my own look. Thanks for this LUT pack mate. Great video and look forward to the next one. Another bikerhead from Vietnam
Hey man! Stick to default colour settings on the action camera but I don’t shoot auto on the action camera. I do shoot with cinematic settings such as 30fps 1/60 shutter speed with ND filters. I have a video on my channel explaining my cinematic GoPro/action camera setup to get the best footage 🤝

Yeah! Have you edited your SLOG3 footage before? If so it’ll be the same colour grading process. Convert SLOG3 to Rec.709 with Sony conversion Lut then add this creative Lut from my Lut pack🤝
@@JayJankulovski I need to be educated but I thought you just throw the lut and make minor adjustments and that’s it. But you are saying I need to throw a separate lut on before using yours?
@@Connorspelunking Yes! If shooting in a LOG picture profile there is an extra step to do, which is converting it to Rec.709. If you shoot in a 'standard' picture profile on your camera which is Rec.709 already all you would have to do is throw the Lut from my pack on, a couple adjustments to your liking and you're good. With LOG footage there is always that extra step that needs to be done :)
@@JayJankulovskiI’m definitely planning on getting your pack but I wanna know how to do it properly. Is there a very common rec 709 Lut that everyone uses for Sony? Like what do you use to convert to 709. Also correct me if I’m wrong but rec 709 is a color correction that makes it as it was on shot. So natural color ?
Think of how long it took him as well as his skills in video editing that he’s spent time learning himself. I don’t think for 12 that’s a lot at all to get something back for the time and effort he’s spent. He’s not making you buy them, go ahead and buy some for $12 but guarantee you they’re nowhere near the quality of this👍🏻
