Hi Asir sir, we booked sonet and gonna take delivery by this Wednesday, what ever you are saying is absolutely true, we are three and our kid is just one and half years old and the main reason we went to sonet is the interior quality, which is little premium when it compared with its cousin venue and mainly due to automatic wide ranges available in sonet.
Last week while going to Goa I saw an Altroz with L board with full speed on Ghat roads.... There was one big pot hole on the way.. He was not able to control on time... It was hit so bad in the bottom of the Altroz.. Sound came inside my car after hitting the pot hole.. Luckily nothing happened while the car hit the pot hole.. No one was coming in the opposite...... Drive safe everyone

I am ready to forego SunRoof (which is very undesirable for me) for 360° camera which is highly desirable in New varients of Sonet HTK+, HTX , HTX+. Mileage of Sonet is lower by 20% because of its increased weight which is about 20% more thanthe similar comparable other brands of compact SUVs
Finally I chose HTK 1.0 L Petrol DCT on 20th Dec 2023. I might upgrade infotainment screen from 8" to 10.25 " after delivery and will explore for adding Airpurifier separately.

I am having sonet DCT, driven 10000 kms in q 1 yr, till now there are no issues, power is excellent, mileage is avg 10 to 12 in cities and 14 to 17 in highway. There is a small jerk and lag in 2nd and 3rd gear, but if you drive in sports mode it won't feel, build avg, suspension stiff, but could have worked on their steering, good for bit enthusiastic people with features, 2nd row is bit pathetic. LED Headlight visibility very poor. Overall good to buy diesel for fuel efficiency, and for those who drives occasionally can go for turbo petrol. If they made with a good build in this facelift, then this is the best in segment.

@@senthilkumar2300 sir , i am 90kg and i have sit in rear seat for long drives . I dont see a kind of discomfort , that its a negative one. For me the car is okay except the DCT version, i see a pull in the second gear, even without having leg in the accelerator , in even a slightest uphill .
The sudden intrest in sonet for me is because of two main reasons. 1) i loved nexon ,new nexon is awsome ,but quality issues and service situation is a pain. There are atleast 5 users who had to visit service centre on day 3 of purchasing 2) hyundai is considering safety seriously. Verna got 5 stars ,they mentioned that in exter launch also . Unless tata fix the issues with nexon and their service ( i hope they will) ,sonet it is..
Verna got 5stars but they also mentioned that footwell, and body shell frontal structure was unstable beyond further loading that means the structure might not withstand further load or pressure
@@pranavjs that means the car crash tested at 65kmph, and un stable at further loading means it cannot withstand further speed, which can be interpreted in many ways regarding safety, as a air bag alone cannot save the passenger if the structure collapse, and a unstable shell can be thrown out too.
I had liked Sonet very much but ended up with buying Nexon. I am not disappointed with Nexon. Super comfort and had no issues with service as well. I would like to mention the service has improved so well that the relationship rep calls me constantly for any issues in my service and keeps checks in. They have implemented a new operating procedure in handling customers I believe.
My father has ciaz diesel. I am 5 11. We really love the car. Excellent mileage. Very comfortable long drives . Big legroom. I am thinking to buy kia sonet. My priorities for a car are decent mileage like without compromising performance. Big leg room. Can i get kia sonet diesel MT. Or IMT is better? @motowagan
I have a Kia sonet DCT. I open the sunroof to clean it, every week I clean the car I clean it. At this point it's a feature that I rarely use, it is using me every week to keep itself clean 😅. The feature I'm happy to use is the DCT and the cruise control. If anyone wants to know about anything let me know I'll post a video.
@@NaaiSekar-cc4ef I've driven over 7500 Kms. Not once I've gotten the clutch heat warning. This may be due to two reasons, one, the 2023 update for Sonet gave it auto start stop so whenever we stop in the traffic, engine is off so no torque goes to the clutch. Second, I avoid frequent creeping and let the car in front of me move a good distance before I move. I let go of the brake completely and let it go. So I think the clutch heating issue is mostly sorted with the 2023 update. You may think I might not drive in traffic a lot, so for your info, I live in Bangalore and I drive to work from Koramangala to Whitefield.

@@senthilkumar2300 sir , i am 90kg and i have sit in rear seat for long drives . I dont see a kind of discomfort , that its a negative one. For me the car is okay except the DCT version, i see a pull in the second gear, even without having leg in the accelerator , in even a slightest uphill .

The sudden intrest in sonet for me is because of two main reasons.
1) i loved nexon ,new nexon is awsome ,but quality issues and service situation is a pain. There are atleast 5 users who had to visit service centre on day 3 of purchasing
2) hyundai is considering safety seriously. Verna got 5 stars ,they mentioned that in exter launch also .
Unless tata fix the issues with nexon and their service ( i hope they will) ,sonet it is..

@@pranavjs that means the car crash tested at 65kmph, and un stable at further loading means it cannot withstand further speed, which can be interpreted in many ways regarding safety, as a air bag alone cannot save the passenger if the structure collapse, and a unstable shell can be thrown out too.
I had liked Sonet very much but ended up with buying Nexon. I am not disappointed with Nexon. Super comfort and had no issues with service as well. I would like to mention the service has improved so well that the relationship rep calls me constantly for any issues in my service and keeps checks in. They have implemented a new operating procedure in handling customers I believe.

I do understand that XUV 700 used by stupid people but It doesn't mean we don't deserve that technology, it doesn't make sense to me
I have a Kia sonet DCT. I open the sunroof to clean it, every week I clean the car I clean it. At this point it's a feature that I rarely use, it is using me every week to keep itself clean 😅. The feature I'm happy to use is the DCT and the cruise control. If anyone wants to know about anything let me know I'll post a video.

I am a new learner so planning to go for DCT.
@@NaaiSekar-cc4ef I've driven over 7500 Kms. Not once I've gotten the clutch heat warning. This may be due to two reasons, one, the 2023 update for Sonet gave it auto start stop so whenever we stop in the traffic, engine is off so no torque goes to the clutch. Second, I avoid frequent creeping and let the car in front of me move a good distance before I move. I let go of the brake completely and let it go. So I think the clutch heating issue is mostly sorted with the 2023 update. You may think I might not drive in traffic a lot, so for your info, I live in Bangalore and I drive to work from Koramangala to Whitefield.
