I haven't seen anything on increased device limits from the JACE 8000 to the JACE 9000. I was never given a hard max on the 8000 but was was told don't go over 200 devices. Any ideas if that soft limit is still there or do we have a lot more room now? IE I have a building with 265 devices split on 2 JACEs with graphics on a server, could that be all done in one 9000? Not seeing any actual value if it can't do any more
It's really hard to put a number on that because of the number of factors outside of devices - points, histories, alarms, graphics, programming logic, etc. That said, we've seen pretty significant bumps in performance. I would not at all be surprised to see it handle over 200 devices.
