      @Blake Frost - And by the time "The Johnny Cash Show" debuted in 1969, his weight was cited in a TV Guide article as 250 lbs. As 'Hen Dawg' noted, looked so different.

    I remember those days very well. Was always taken backstage by Marshall Grant and there were quite a few shows where I thought it was the last time I'd see Cash alive. This video says his weight got down to 150 but Marshall said at one point it was 135. In either case, Cash always appeared on the verge of death yet still put on electrifying shows and was always very gracious afterwards towards his young fans. A walking contradiction!

    4 the life of me idk y we idolize drug addicts... yes, they got clean, but thats not the point... they failed.
    let us all idolize those that never indulged, those that didnt take the fall. 4 they r the true strength.
