    Fair play to Tomm for mentioning how age and accessibility (able-bodied, etc) effect the animation industry, with all the wonderful pushes towards diversity and inclusivity in our studios, it's definitely something that doesn't get brought up as much and we may be lagging behind in (at least, I can only speak to the experience in European studios).

    Pete Docter is spelled incorrectly as "Doctor" in both the title and description of the video

    This was so intriguing to watch and learn so many things about animation all over the world. In retrospect looking back I’m glad that theaters in the U.S are making a comeback but hearing what was happening in India during that time was eye opening I never really heard a prospective of animation through a 3rd world lense that often especially in such a professional setting I’m glad she was included and I will be watching Bombay rose. Also I loved how everyone just wanted Glen Keene to keep talking my self included! This legend has so many amazing stories and it’s great to hear I’m so surprised about the Kobe story it was great ☺️. Really loved the talk about diversity seeing the round table 5 years ago compared to this one is an huge improvement and I’m happy they want to change things for the better it was especially interesting what Tom had to say about age & disabled inclusion cause it’s not one I’ve heard talk about enough in the industry since there seems to be a time limit on artists nowadays but over great discussions I got so much out of this as an aspiring Animation director someday!

    I know there's no point to this but Tomm Moore is a cutie and a visionary - the projects he has been involved are outstanding. That being said, he's very cute

      You said hes a "cutie"...then proceed to say "That being said, he's very cute." Bit redundant. And yes, there is no point to your comment... unless you were aiming at sounding like a 14 yr old girl.

    Glen's last comment is basically what Soul is about XD. Pete Docter is such a prudent dude.

    Please check the comments THR. Surely it's not that hard to change the title/desc on a video to fix a spelling error?

    I think I would have rather seen them in a room, wearing masks. This feels a bit too artificial

    • @leliza8477
      @leliza8477 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      They're probably in different states/countries? Travelling is unsafe at the moment, mask or not. I think a zoom call was the most responsible approach

    • @aeivivi
      @aeivivi 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Masks make it tough for accessibility issues as well- I am hard of hearing so being able to see people mouths as they talk is so so helpful. It’s a tough one to accommodate for sure! I miss the table format as well.
