So you guys know, the lowest paid head coach of a Premiere League team still makes a couple million a year. And the highest paid one makes, like, 30 million a year or something. Ted is definitely richer than the therapist.

The lowest paid manager this year is making 250k. Guardiola makes 20 million, Klopp makes 15 million, and Pochettino makes 10.4 million. Most of the rest are between 1 and 4 million. Great money if you can get one of the jobs.

No they aren't. It just feels that way because this episode was atrocious. 9 and 10 are good, not great. The final 2 episodes are among the best of the series, but there's stuff from season 1 and 2 that are clearly better than episodes 9 and 10 of season 3.

I agree, my initial reaction was to hate it but after sitting with it I really like the breakup for what it is. I would have loved for them to just ride off into the sunset, but the situation they set up, Jack's reaction is a pretty standard take in today's society where we so often blame the victim. Ted Lasso does it to show the audience how shitty that is.

Go back a few episodes when he FaceTimes with her to tell her how he feels about her dating their old therapist and keeping it a secret from her. Has he expresses his feelings to her, you see her start to smile.

I'm not in love with this episode overall, but I know Keeley's photo leak was based on something one of the writers actually went through, so I appreciate they sort of went there, but almost wish they had unpacked it over more episodes? But I love the scene between Beard and Henry. And of course Beatles references are always a win. And I think Jamie's apology was sweet and Nate seeing Ted and Henry really shook him up, so that was important.

I started to be mistrustful and dislike Jack after the episode about love bombing. I didn’t like her reaction to when Keeley first brought up the topic, because of how serious love bombing can be. Like, it could be a serious sign of abuse or gaslighting. And to me, it felt like she took it to lightly, at least in her initial reaction. How Jack was written, I personally feel a break up was destined. Because Jack is (at least currently) too scared to rock the boat. She loves her status, her wealth, and she wouldn’t willing to change that. She could learn and grow like we see with all the characters. But not rn now. Change takes time. The thing I just don’t like about it is that one, the relationship was so short? And two, that they set up a queer relationship like this to start. One that was (to me) always going to end. In shows, lgbtq+ people like myself see very little queer relationships and it felt weird of the show to set one up and drop it like this. I love this show so much, never doubt that. But it is a criticism I have

Roy is the type of person that likes to focus his rage. With anonymous hacker leakers, there is no place to direct his anger. So in asking who the video was for, I don’t think it was out of jealously, I think he was trying to find someplace he could put the blame. Get the name and then blame them “You didn’t delete the video!” or “your shit wasn’t secure, so now Keylee suffers!”
Jack blames Keylee and Roy seems to blame the one who received the video.

I think the show was pretty clear that Roy was struggling with his own self esteem in the relationship, Ted Lasso isn't a show that's afraid to be on the nose about topics. They set it up at the end of the second season with the photo shoot. He doesn't feel worthy of Keely's love, and instead of talking about it or working on it, he broke up with her. I would speculate that he did that to avoid the pain he assumed would come in the future when he thought Keely would realize he wasn't good enough and break up with him.

The writers didn't do a good job with the Nate and Keeley storylines this season and it affected the whole season. I think the problem is they didn't do a good job setting up these storylines in season 2. Keeley's story would have made more sense if she broke up with Roy when he asked her to go to leave on vacation with her. Roy could have spent this season dealing with his anger as Keeley focused on her business. Nate's heel turn in season 2 was downright silly. The turnaround is almost worse. They missed Bill Lawerence this year and you could see Jason Sudeikis wanted to get out of England as much as Ted. The season isn't bad --- the worst Ted Lasso episodes are better than 90% of other shows on TV.

@@garrethb6261 like I said to someone else I know it was hinted at but I feel like in season 3 they threw it in our faces to pander to that audience, like we went from subtle hints to having technically 3 characters being gay/bi and it being in most scenes when those characters where on screen, I don’t mind gay characters or anything I just personally think it was poorly handled on the show, it felt like they just tried to rush that stuff into the plot for season 3 to pander to those who were critical of them for not having gay/bi characters, like I know Roy for example had his own self confidence issues when it came to Keeley and that was beginning to drive a wedge of some sort in their relationship but it just felt like they kinda rushed and brushed over their so called ‘break up’ just so they could have her hook up with Jack 🤷🏻‍♂️ Jack as a character too felt rushed and just again for pandering as she had hardly any character development at all and she was in the show for like what, 3 episodes or something like that if I remember? So you can kinda see why I’m saying it feels like they was in panic mode and just wanted to rush in some gay characters into the show and that’s where my problem with the writing comes from, if they spent more time on making those gay or bisexual relationships seem more grounded and realistic then obviously I’d have no problem with that, I don’t see why that’s such a bad thing for everyone to be slating me for just because I have that opinion

Its very rich for Rebecca to tell Ted to get over Michelle getting engaged when she trembles and gets wound up every time she just hears the name Rupert.

Worst Episode of the entite Series. Jacks character is just pure filler.

Agreed. Promising start but it went absolutely nowhere. Thankfully the next four episodes are HUGE step up from this one.

Privately I understand but sending it over email, or posting it anywhere on the internet is a stupid move. Snap, MMS, usb there are better way's. Like what? it's eventually gonna come out if you have a career and a public image. It's not right but neither is posting any of this on the internet.

She literally didn't post it online. That's not what email is.

unpopular opinion but Ted and his family are the least interesting part of the series after season 2. I hope they do a spin off continuing the stories in Richmond
