Wow Angie - they came out beautifully! Blues and greens are my default favorites so it was automatically a home run for me - - I love the twisting of the shirts giving more movement - and giving more of a water vibe. They're awesome!!
Thank you! I love that color combo too, and I'm pretty happy with the results from adding the twist in the shirt. It adds just a little extra pizazz to the design.
This technique is creating some really cool shirts. Controlled Chaos. It is fun to watch creative people create.
I totally agree. The wind that day added a whole new element of chaos to the technique.
You did a fantastic job on these the little twists made all the difference😁✌️
Thank you!! 😊 I agree - I really liked adding in the twist. It wasn't a huge difference, but I like the effect.
I'm really liking the gravity technique, I think the wind played a big part in the dye movement. Love the colors, like the 2nd one better. Great experiment! Thanks again!
Thank you! Me too - they are a lot of fun! I agree that the wind definitely played a part in where the dye ended up.
I haven't tried this particular "gravity" technique yet. Thanks for the tutorial on the 2 shirts. I think your grey has a lot of blue that split and that's why you got what you got.
Thank you! 🙂
The second shirt has way more movement and I love it
Thank you! 😀
I’m really enjoying the gravity dyes and how the dye moves on the shirt. Beautiful! ✌🏻❤️🤙🏻
Thank you so much 😀
I love these!
Thank you so much! 😊
Interesting technique. I like the ice dyed shirts with more white showing b/c they look so .. ethereal and water color-like and dreamy. Like a Monet painting.
Thanks so much! 😊
Beautiful! I love these! No string, no folds! Now try it in red to see if it looks like fire. Thanks.
Thank you! That's a great idea!
I LOVE these shirts, Angie, so stunning. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!
Angie...there should be a love button on here❣️I personally love shirt #2 It reminds me of my koi pond and garden! As soon as I saw it I said Beach..But then in the left corner I see a garden 😍 Well Im going to try and make one. Btw The twists in the shirt fit perfectly as they remind me of movement in the pond as the koi swim by. I live in Ontario Canada It has been very cold the last few days 🥶⛄Bring on the Spring ! Love your videos and setups Cheers✌️🇨🇦
Thank you so much, Debbie! These are so much fun to make. I've seen where it's been really cold in Canada - I hope you are keeping warm. I'm so ready for winter to be over and for some warmer weather too. 😀
I love the gravity technique, I love ice dye, thought iv never tried it, cuz I love its water color esthetic. But I love this because the die movement looks so natural and water like.
Thank you - I agree it definitely has a water vibe!
I love them both! The all blue one I think that I like best! Great experiment!
Thank you! 😊
Very cool. They both have so much depth to them.
Thank you so much! 😊
good job there Angie! the colors look tranquil.
Thank you! I think they look tranquil too.
You have to sprinkle dye randomly to keep from having one color all in one place. Leaving some white also makes the colors pop. Creates a more watercolor look, if that’s what you’re going for.
Love these! Nice job Angie!
Thanks so much! 😊
I LOVE THEM BOTH!!!
Thank you! 🙂
Pretty cool idea 💥👍🏻❣️
Thank you! 😊
I love gravity dyes. Did you ever try a barrier around the baskets to block the wind?
Me too! No, I haven't ever tried that.
hi Angie ! wow love this technique. hope you will experiment more with it. thank you
Thank you so much! I love this technique too. I've tried a few more items, and I have videos for those coming soon.
Dye really supposed to go on top of the ice.
madam vat diy and ice cubes used makes this methed
thanks
I use any plastic container that is large to make the ice cubes.
There's no mistakes, just happy accidents
Absolutely!!!
You have to mix the dyes for a watercolor look, smaller sprinkle more random.
108 degrees!??? Where do yall live!??
In the south. It's hot, but the heat makes beautiful tie dye!
if you look in the middle of the first shirt there is a face
That's always fun! 😀
This might be really cool with a couple of geodes.
That's a great idea! I'm going to have to add that one to my to do list.
Beautiful! I love the twist designs.
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful!
Thank you! 🙂
Very cool! I like it! Thanks
Thank you - I'm really glad you like it!
