Those who are not from IIT/ NIT. Just get into the job field u want...with whatever package u are getting....after 4-5 years u will be at the same level of packages of at that time of iitians / NITIANs. Just keep grinding. Consistency and discipline helps any person grow.
seriously that is not possible after 4-5 yrs your package still will be a fraction of an iitian salary lpu avg package is 4.5lpa so in 5 yrs it will become 8-9.5 lpa (14-20 if you are exceptional) and iits package start with 22lpa so yeah you should be top 0.2% to get equivalent package not to mention their salary will also icrease in 5 yrs

Motivation is good but overmotivation is bad!! A good platform generally gives good opportunities...So from my point of view preparation of any competitive exams either technical or non-technical like GATE to get into a better college from whatever college u are ...because if u r a bright student from a normal college no would ask.... that's why a good platform(college) is important !
@@dog_backward I am myself from NIT and have many friends from IIT. I am saying this from experience bro, the thing is u will have to keep working on yourself and keep learning. And switch companies. After 4-5 years people with same level of technical knowledge earn almost same irrespective of their college. U may start from 4.5 or 3lpa but remember keep learning techs and work on yourself, you may even beat the IITians/NITians package after 4-5 years. 😌

If you don't wish to tell exact branch, you can tell non-circuit ( chemical, mechanical, metallurgy,, civil, environmental, etc.) or circuit (computer science, electrical, electronics) branch and company's domain (software, core , consultancy etc) 2) What preparation was done during 2nd and 3rd year (like choosing minor, electives, additional learning, hackathons etc) and during placement season (choosing companies to apply for, eligibility criteria, written and GD, technical rounds etc) 3) Typical interview questions by companies ? I know asking a lot, but really appreciate your help.
