We hate it when Pakistan copies from india or from anywhere. But mostly, as per my experience, Pakistanis do give credit either in any interview, (previously on cassette labels) or some medium. Mostly Pakistani content is truly inspired not precisely "copied".

I think the producers and directors don’t realize on both sides of the border that the ordinary folks are way more integrated and friendly to each other than they think. So when they copy stuff they think that the people won’t find out. May be true in the old days before the internet. Not anymore.

I have one thing to say that copycats are on both side but more on indian side. but but but I am still thankfull to bollywood that they copied our great composer's compositions and gave them a new fresh touch. thats how these songs are still alive and being heard. if they wouldn't have copied them then we wouldn't be talking about these nice songs. Also I have to admit that music industry in Pakistan has totally collapsed or dead if I am using the right words. so Bollywood has served Urdu Language in a way and saved it from extinction. specially in 90s and early 2000s. everyone has a right to their opinion but this is what I believe what happened.😍

Pakistan movie industry was dead for a long time, still it is struggling, small industry copying a big one is a norm. There is not a single song copied from India that is famous in Pakistan. No one listens to these. No one is proud on these. When pointed out they dont justify its their own creation. Bollywood claims top industry of the world, they copying a small one and then they claim these are their own creation, Indian people dont even know these are copied and feel proud on that. Its just a reality check
