This is simply delightful music (shades of Poulenc, but without his frivolity); why do we never hear it? It's beautifully recorded and expertly played, too. Bravo all round!

I wonder why? Many flute player and oboe player doesn't play this piece.
I recommend this piece.
The sonata for clarinet, flute and piano by Maurice Emmanuel is another gem.
