If they had a bigger team and good funding, this game wouldve been the ultimate marvel game. They would have way more heros, diverse enemies. I enjoy this game because its the only game where you can play as these awesome heros
Tbh this is still a game I play frequently, as I actually like to figure out how to make the most of each hero, making awesome combos and the like. I just wish we could get more dlc missions and more marketable characters frequently so that this game can reach its full potential
Only way I can see that happening is thru monetization, they got a skeleton crew working on this. People complain when they charged for exp boosters, now the DLC patches are getting smaller and further away.
It looks good. I like what I'm seeing. I've been playing since launch. Yes I agree solo game play needs to be an option. Sometimes the other avengers just get in the way or steal your takedowns (looking at you Hulk).😐
I still play this. Not daily but from time to time I'll just jump in and do some missions. Maybe put a couple hours in. I think it was great for what it was. I never understood the hate it got because they never hid what it was going to be. They did multiple war tables, gameplay videos, and even a beta so everyone knew what it was before it launched. So acting disappointed in it at that point was just weird lol. I think the story alone was worth the purchase price. The free dlc and being able to play with friends was just a bonus
Story was half assed and they didn’t say aim was the only enemy faction, also they didn’t say there were no locations worth going to. “OH YOU GET TO GO TO SEATTLE! Wow” trash. Also they sandbagged and delayed heroes and the Hawkeye dlc was a joke
Only way this game gets better imo is if there’s major story dlc with 2 good characters with it, a new enemy type that has nothing to do with aim(NO ROBOTS), updates that allow single player missions without other avengers running behind you, and maybe even 6 player multiplayer missions. I’d personally like to see vision added next, beast he was an avenger or MoonKnight something that will have no choice but to feel different from the others . As far as villians id like skrulls or maybe the black order and they’ll have command of the chittauri. Also just new regions that can accommodate a team of non-flyers/speedsters. Running all over the map isn’t engaging tbh. They can make a comeback No more clone characters and a few Story driven updates with characters attached that can be played online/offline🥹
Considering how long it takes for the cloned characters though I know this is just a fantasy of mine and we’d be lucky to get anything else before summer next year💔 so I have given up I just keep an eye on the updates lol

Fighting robots is not worthy of an Avengers talent imo. Definitely need Loki. He's been canon for a long time but yet to make a true appearance. More superpowered villains that are inherently powerful and not just these mad scientists.

I keep the 106Go on my PS5 to play from time to time this game. Yes it has a lot of issues and prevent me to play it as a "main game" where I spend hours and hours to unlock cosmetics or builds. However I do like certain events, unlock prime gaming stuff and the gameplay of certain characters. Black Widow is my favorite by far and always enjoy playing as her - so I look forward to test Winter Soldier
I've Loved this game from day one it's the only Marvel Avengers game we have where we can actually control all the heroes, I hope they continue to update and add new characters, happy gaming to all no matter what you're playing 👌🏾

This game needs an ACTUAL dlc with good story. Add some mystic or cosmic characters and new enemies. Than MAYBE I’ll jump back in. But my hopes are pretty much gone, by how the way this game is going forward.

Well i actually discovered that game last year November and really loved it.And than I abandoned it around May or so.I got frustrated with the groups and especially “the failed to join message”.I mean this forced co op to get higher up and than the matchmaking wasn’t working. So like i said i abandoned it and played mostly Assassins Creed Games. Got hung up on AC Valhalla for a while until I got so fed up with the constant crashing whenever I visited my settlement. So I deleted it just like I deleted Avengers before.And than I went back to the older AC Games like Rogue or AC 3,Ezio Collection.Well But about a week ago after I got so bored with Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 I reinstalled Avengers.I knew that Jane Foster had been added and I was really curious.And well now it is a week later and i absolutely love Jane.Even though she plays like Thor somehow i find her way more powerful.And i really squeezed as many hours of that Quad XP and resources week to level her up.And yesterday I spent like til 4 am to level up Bucky to 150.I really love his under barrel grenade launcher and his looks.I even spent a few Bucks on the Winter Soldier Bundle And the big MCU Bundle.I know that Bucky is most likely the last character that will be added to the Game.Well Maybe She Hulk too but than that will be it for the game.But it is crazy how easily I fell in love with the game again after I abandoned it for almost half a year.And I also encountered almost no Failed to join messages.the game.But I think Jane And Bucky are great additions to the game.And it’s nice that Steve is reunited with his best friend.I haven’t played his Mission Chain yet but I really wish they had added a mission chain for Jane.But at least we got some touching and informative Audio Files from her.

I feel like if the core gameplay loop of the game had been more fleshed out in the combat department and if they had toned the looting system down a bit to make it less grindy, the game would've done somewhat better. I'm personally spoiled when it comes to combat coming from Devil May Cry, but a little bit of combo variety would've helped this game a ton. Gear builds were interesting, but if the actual gear you equip changed the characters visually, that would've appeased some players and the skins could still be implemented as a form of transmog system. I recently found a game on mobile that's been out for a while called Marvel Future Fight (it's hella pay to win so don't get your hopes up) that has the most amount of iterations of marvel characters I've seen so far and they do it through a costume system in which said costumes completely change character animations to fit the costume and design of the character according to when and how they appeared as said iteration in the comics. As an example, if you have base "classic" Venom, you can buy his King in Black costume and his moveset changes since he wields a battle axe. It almost feels crazy to say that a mobile game has more fanservice than a AAA game. That being said, it being a stereotypical mobile game, it mostly caters to "whales" and is extremely unbalanced. This does get me thinking of a what if scenario in which we could get a Marvel game in the "warriors" genre of games where the developers could just add characters, coop, some horde or endless modes and expansions to the story over the years (since live services are what most companies are doing nowadays). They could literally make most of their money by just selling cosmetics (costumes) that change character animations/movesets to fit their designs. They could please the fans by allowing them to have their favorite characters, and still please their investors by means of players spending on their favorite iterations of the base characters (that would already be accessible for free through the base content) without having to worry about anything being unbalanced or pay to win since the structure would be that of a mostly single player game. I feel like a system like that could add a lot of replayability to such a simple design for a game by today's standards. Even "simpler" would just be a 3D arena fighting game with multiple versions of characters that have different movesets (like in the Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise). It would hopefully have better netcode though 💀. This is all just wishful thinking so don't think too hard about it, lol.
I would have liked to have seen Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Captain Marvel, Namor, War Machine, anyone from Fantastic Four, US Agent, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Wolverine, Nova, Doctor Strange, Daredevil, Storm, Havoc, Blade, Deadpool, Cable (especially Cable), or Ghost Rider more than Ms. Marvel, Mighty Thor, Kate Bishop, Black Widow, Hawkeye or Winter Soldier. All of the above have been Avengers before and why they chose to add these minor characters is anyone's guess. I could understand if this were a SHIELD game, but it's not.
For your question yes i am interested in playing this game and trying winter soilder out its just a storage thing cuz i have other games that take up storage maybe after gow ragnorak i will try this out
I still play a bit . Because i like marvel . When i wanna play i play hulk . And thor . Just to slam the enemys into the ground . Or fling the hammer around like a missle . Stick the enemys to walls or trucks . Good time waster . . More about the fun of playing marvel . Dont think to much about its flaws just plain fun .

I played winter soldier just sometime back, the gameplay actually feels pretty fun but idk if I want to invest all that time and energy into fully upgrading him to champion level. I would rather just focus on fully upgrading my hulk and ironman to 175
i’ll be checking out winter soldier when i get off work but i don’t think this’ll get me back into the game. hawkeye and black panther were promising. but everything has been underwhelming since then. spider man was… ok, jane was super underwhelming, bucky looks decent
I don't think anyone else has noticed but it's been bugging me since day fuckin one. When characters swing on the light post (like hulk) they only use one arm how fuckin hard is it to have them switch arms. Or they jump off on the same foot every time wtff
I really wanted avengers to make a comeback and Bucky looks a tonne of fun, but I can't play those same missions and fight the same enemies again, just such a lack of variety. The slow cadence of updates is just too slow to interest me, it looks like it's such a small team still working on it

This does get me thinking of a what if scenario in which we could get a Marvel game in the "warriors" genre of games where the developers could just add characters, coop, some horde or endless modes and expansions to the story over the years (since live services are what most companies are doing nowadays). They could literally make most of their money by just selling cosmetics (costumes) that change character animations/movesets to fit their designs. They could please the fans by allowing them to have their favorite characters, and still please their investors by means of players spending on their favorite iterations of the base characters (that would already be accessible for free through the base content) without having to worry about anything being unbalanced or pay to win since the structure would be that of a mostly single player game. I feel like a system like that could add a lot of replayability to such a simple design for a game by today's standards.
Even "simpler" would just be a 3D arena fighting game with multiple versions of characters that have different movesets (like in the Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise). It would hopefully have better netcode though 💀.
This is all just wishful thinking so don't think too hard about it, lol.
I would have liked to have seen Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Captain Marvel, Namor, War Machine, anyone from Fantastic Four, US Agent, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Wolverine, Nova, Doctor Strange, Daredevil, Storm, Havoc, Blade, Deadpool, Cable (especially Cable), or Ghost Rider more than Ms. Marvel, Mighty Thor, Kate Bishop, Black Widow, Hawkeye or Winter Soldier. All of the above have been Avengers before and why they chose to add these minor characters is anyone's guess. I could understand if this were a SHIELD game, but it's not.

I still play a bit . Because i like marvel . When i wanna play i play hulk . And thor . Just to slam the enemys into the ground . Or fling the hammer around like a missle . Stick the enemys to walls or trucks . Good time waster . . More about the fun of playing marvel . Dont think to much about its flaws just plain fun .
I just bought this game on steam and gifted it to 4 buddies. Excited to ply and loving it so far. Like it a lot more than Gotham Knights.

I feel like his movement is kinda slow, I wish you could do less damage but he moves faster like in Captain America The Winter Soulder.

I played winter soldier just sometime back, the gameplay actually feels pretty fun but idk if I want to invest all that time and energy into fully upgrading him to champion level. I would rather just focus on fully upgrading my hulk and ironman to 175
They are reusing a lot of the same animations as Captain America just without the shield

i’ll be checking out winter soldier when i get off work but i don’t think this’ll get me back into the game. hawkeye and black panther were promising. but everything has been underwhelming since then. spider man was… ok, jane was super underwhelming, bucky looks decent

I don't think anyone else has noticed but it's been bugging me since day fuckin one. When characters swing on the light post (like hulk) they only use one arm how fuckin hard is it to have them switch arms. Or they jump off on the same foot every time wtff

I really wanted avengers to make a comeback and Bucky looks a tonne of fun, but I can't play those same missions and fight the same enemies again, just such a lack of variety. The slow cadence of updates is just too slow to interest me, it looks like it's such a small team still working on it
