Hell yeah...she's alive. She's a runner. Great determination Louie. Glad you didn't give up. She's a GM, they'll run. Keep the content coming. I do enjoy the channel. Keeps me coming back. I was a little nervous... thought you were going to catch yourself on fire. Flying fire will make a man jump everytime. Lol It's a plus that that didn't happen. 👍 Keep on motoring brother!!! 👍👍👍
I have owned a 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham for a little over20 years and put over 200k miles on the car myself. I love the sound of the 350 Olds; especially when it's hard to start or won't start. I had to soften up the driver's side seat by replacing it with a 1977 Olds Toronado seat. Now, she feels so good when she is hard to start or won't start. There is absolutely nothing like the moan of an Olds 350!!
Dude you got the distributor a 180 out or the wires are not in sync or something major going on there olds and Pontiac turn opposite of a small block Chevy make sure the wires follow that and it will fire off I would have made her pop off first shot did you put the distributor in ? If so its off by a mile or 180 miles lol
Thanks for posting. I recently acquired a disassembled 350dx engine. Wanted to know, what type of gaskets and head bolts did you use? Then did you disassemble anything, or just start it as is? Thanks again.
Any idea what year of Oldsmobile this came out of? It pre-HEI, so it might be late 60's/early 70's. I'm sure it would run better with a modern cam, if you know what the compression is.
That's a good sounding engine. Gotta love a Oldsmobile 👍
