This is why I became a muslim alhamdullilah it’s the heart change the humility the love for my fellow man and nature . The outward appearance is easy to change its easy to look the part . Where Islam is really at is in the inner corners of our hearts minds and souls that ultimately bring us into alignment with our creator . It’s a path not just a religion it’s a holistic experience. Abu Darda reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Verily, the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge. The inhabitants of the heavens and earth, even the fish in the depths of the water, seek forgiveness for the scholar. The virtue of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon over the stars. The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. They do not leave behind gold or silver coins, but rather they leave behind knowledge. Whoever has taken hold of it has been given an abundant share.

Maaf zahir batin. Minal ‘aidil wal faizin wal maqbulin wal maghfurin. kullu ‘am wa antum bi khair. Eid far away from the homeland and under covid self-isolation - not fun.😞
