When he mentioned how the prophet's daughter wipes her father's head while she is crying, and the prophet says "don't cry, Allah will protect me." very sad moment of the life of Muhammad pbuh. Imagine what he had to indure, his daughters are watching him suffer by the hands of his tribe and kinsmen. After all what they have done to him in Makka, when he conquered it he never avenged he pardoned all of them. Truly he was a mercy to all beings.
In the breaking of dawn
The passing of the night
The rising of the Sun
And the hymming of sparrows
I saw you Allah
In the drops of rain
The sprouting of seeds
The blooming of the rose
And the scents of Spring
I saw you Allah
In the union of marriage
The signs of conception
The endurance of a mother
And the birth of a child
I saw you Allah
In the play of the toddler
The passions of youth
The dedication of a father
And the shield of morality
I saw you Allah
In the trials of life
The soreness of the heart
The weakness of limbs
And the consolement from prayer
I saw you Allah
In the leaving of the day
The glory of the moon
In the final breath
And the tears of the family
I saw you Allah
In the calling of the cockeral
The lamenting of the dogs
The harkening of the blackbird
And the silence of the wind
I saw you Allah
As I overheard the compelling warning
"O mankind hasten towards good
Lest death soon overtakes you"

The revelation about the prohibition of alcoholic drinks was revealed; and alcoholic drinks are extracted from five things: Grapes, dates, honey, wheat and barley. And the alcoholic drink is that which confuses and stupefies the mind."

Beloved do not grieve
Look around and you will see,
That the sky is still blue
And the sun still shines
And the birds still sing the praises of Allah
And the evergreen flowers still kindly bloom
And when darkness falls, the night awakens
By the glorious moon and the twinkling stars
And the breeze still blows to clear the air
The trees still shed leaves to enrich the earth
The rain still falls and the rivers still flow
And the grass is still fresh and green
The hens still lay the gorgeous eggs

The moon faded
When the sun rose
The sun set
When the moon shone
But the name of the Prophet
Muhammad ﷺ
Illuminates the horizons
Throughout the nights
And the days
And the Sunnah of our beloved
Adorns the believers
Though times change
Stunningly penetrating, insightful khutba. I find Sheikh Murad to be someone who is an original thinker who is subtly aware of the human condition in our times.

May Allah guide the ignorant person who gave this Khutba a dislike. May Allah make us believers firm in our belief.

@@copiousfootnotes al (the) - lah (god) = the god. Which god ? Sin/ Sayin the Arabian moon goddess 🌙 pre-islamic mythology. As the discovery of early modern astronomy by the European about our solar system by Nicolaus Copernicus in 16th century then followed by Galileo Galilei, Johanes Kepler, Isaac Newton in the 17th century people started to realise planets & star (our sun) & its constellations are not gods, goddess & heaven. People around the world, except the European, were still worshipping the sky including muslim. Whn education reached Middle East muslim realised it so they changed allah from the moon god 🌙 they used to worship to become the creator of the universe. However, their own quran & symbol saying it. How come this happened ? To lie in defending islam is allowed. It's called taqiya (defensive deception) on quran 3 : 28 & explained in Tafsir Ibn 'Abbas (Mokrane Guezzou translation), "... taking as it were safety-measure saving yourself from them by speaking in a kindly way towards them with, while your hearts hate this."
Google "Who's Lah in the ancient Arab mythology". It's the Egyptian's & Arabian moon god 🌙. Among Qureshi tribe, whr Muhammad belonged to, was regarded as the moon goddess 🌙 because she gave comfort & became the guidance of night travellers rather Hubal the sun god 🌞 could kill humans, cattle & plants with his heat. Other Arabian tribes & people around the world worshiped Hubal. According to ancient Arab mythology one day Sin married wth Hubal gave 3 daughters al-Lat, al-Uzza & Manat. Tht's why islamic symbol is moon & star ☪️. All represented as 3 meteorite stones. Manat's stone is at the eastern side of Kabah as the Black Stone (Google it). Every muslim & muslimah who fulfil the 5th pilar in islam/ perform hajj/ pilgrim to Ka'bah will kiss it.

Beautiful khutbah, acknowledging our humanness, our griefs, our inability to completely block out the impact of sorrows, yet at same time showing us a way to tether ourselves in the storms of life. May Allah SWT bless Shaykh Abdul Hakim Murad and raise more generations of scholars like him. Ameen.
When you visit this Beloved Mosque, You feel something that you don't feel it in everywhere, Wherever you visit, This place is something else, it is Unique, The happiest time of my whole life were when i visited it. and walked around the Ka'ba, and walked at the Safa and Marwa, and prayed there, i felt tranquility that i have never felt it in everywhere though i travelled a lot and saw a lot of countries. But Makah is something else.
What would we do, without beautiful erudite Muslim scholars like this??? Surely we would be of the lost one's. Alhamdulilah for such blessings as this' our Shaykh. May Allah protect and preserve his sacrifices amongst us, and our children's children until the arrival of al Mahdi and Is'aa a.s. inshaa Allah 🤲

I find it really fascinating that Muslims and Christians agree that we are living in the end times! I admire the zeal Muslims have for their faith but the concern (out of love) I have with them is that they put the cart before the horse when it comes to end times prophecy and this will become terrifyingly clear by the end of these two slightly long posts as to why Muslims may unknowingly end up getting the mark of the antichrist. They want to talk about the antichrist (Al-Maseeh al-Dajjaal) but they don't know the Christ to begin with! An antichrist is one who is in opposition to or fakes the Christ. To identify a product as fake, you must know the original first! Eternity in hell is too long to be wrong about the original.
When I speak of Jesus Christ I'm not referring to Jesus (Isa) who is a misrepresentation of Jesus Christ. For example, what are Isa's teachings according to the Quran? Besides being born of the virgin Mary, performing the bird miracle and being called the Messiah, what was his MESSAGE/GOSPEL and what did he come to DO that is of importance as messiah of mankind? Nothing. If Isa is indeed the Word of God as the Quran also accepts, why would the Word of God not speak in God's holy book? If Isa spoke as Jesus does in the Gospels and the Torah, an entire religion would come tumbling down, even the final brick! But strangely prophet Isa has no voice no prophecy. So to understand the end times and the antichrist then you have to go back to basics and learn about the Christ from the Gospels: what is his GOSPEL and what did he come to DO? (ALERT! The Quran confirmed the gospels/Injeel as Allah's eternal and unalterable/incorruptible word (QS 5:43, 2:36 and QS 6:115). The message of Jesus the Son of God and his crucifixion was in the confirmed Gospels at the time of Muhammad and was there before him. It's a dilemma!)
The name Jesus/Yeshua means salvation. His gospel? He came declaring himself the Son of God and preaching the message of repentance and salvation. What did he DO? He offered himself as a sacrifice once and for all for the salvation of mankind. This is the Christ.
Muslims will be one of many groups who will be easy to deceive into worshiping the Antichrist/Beast and receiving its mark because the god of this world, who rejects the crucifixion by saying he made it appear like they killed Jesus, has put a veil in their minds and a spirit in their hearts so as to find disgust (instead of amazing grace) in the gospel of the Lamb of God who became a curse on the cross for us inorder to bring into effect the Covenant of grace and pay the penalty of sin and save many. Do you know why Jesus was born sinless (of a virgin) in a MANGER (a place where in Jewish history the best lambs were placed for sacrifice)? Do you know why he remained without sin/spot? Do you know that a blood sacrifice was REQUIRED to bring into effect the Covenant of Law Moses? Do that without the shedding of blood in the temple there was no atonement of sins? Jesus Christ was that spotless lamb born in a manger and a better sacrifice for things in heaven to make effective the Covenant of Grace.

The denial of the crucifixion of the 'Son of the Most High' is what Islam teaches. IF YOU DENY THIS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT IS ALREADY IN YOU.
"Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also." I John 2:22-23)
"Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
1 John 4:2-3 KJV
These above verses were written almost 600 years before the Islam would arise, suspiciously through an angel called Gebreel,to deny the gospel of Christ! How ironic! Is this the same angel, Gabriel, who told Mary she would have a son and he shall be called 'the Son of the Most High' (Luke 1:32) but half a century later he forgets and says Allah is father to no one?
[We know (through Sahih Hadiths of Bukhari volume 2, number 111) that when Muhammad began receiving revelations from Gebreel, his first impression was that he was demon-possessed (Jinn). We also know that after his experience in the cave, he became suicidal and tried to hurl himself off a cliff. Muhammad’s wife Khadijah and her cousin Waraqah-people who weren’t with him in the cave and had no idea what he experienced-eventually persuaded him that he wasn’t possessed.]
What Muslims perhaps are not aware of is that Iblis/Shayatin (Satan) has, from the time he was cast down, desires to exalt himself above God and be worshipped as/like God as is recorded by the prophet Isaiah:
[And you said to yourself, 'To the heavens will I ascend, above God's stars will I raise my throne, and I will sit on the mount of the assembly, in the farthest end of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will liken myself to the Most High.']

It is not surprising that Satan has disguised himself as a God of righteousness (by inventing a new religion, which misrepresents and contradicts previous historical accounts and figures in the Torah and Gospels using the claim of a' final revelation') while teaching salvation through righteousness by works of the lawbut denying the one and only saving truth for mankind:THAT CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD CRUCIFIED ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SALVATION.
"And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds."

@@TheWatchmanWebsite I disagree it’s Christian’s who believe in a man god and god became a man, hence they will easily be misled by Dajjal as the anti christ will perform miracles such as raising people from the dead.Muslims don’t believe that God became a man and is part of his creation so we already have the warning signs

I find it really fascinating that Muslims and Christians agree that we are living in the end times! I admire the zeal Muslims have for their faith but the concern (out of love) I have with them is that they put the cart before the horse when it comes to end times prophecy and this will become terrifyingly clear by the end of these two slightly long posts as to why Muslims may unknowingly end up getting the mark of the antichrist. They want to talk about the antichrist (Al-Maseeh al-Dajjaal) but they don't know the Christ to begin with! An antichrist is one who is in opposition to or fakes the Christ. To identify a product as fake, you must know the original first! Eternity in hell is too long to be wrong about the original.

1.Beloved Muslim, as a Christian looking in, I'm concerned about the IDOLATRY which Muhammad led Muslims to practise by doing the tawaf (Circumbulation), touching and kissing the Hajr e aswad (black stone) which, in and of itself, (according to very strong hadiths) OR through Allah, forgives sins and will, according to other accounts, be given eyes and a mouth to SPEAK or testify against sins on the Day of Judgement. [Tawaf was copied from the Sabians who circumbulated 7 times in imitation of the 7 planets they believed were orbiting around the earth (and not the SUN)].
So this is not just a stone. It's divine. It can be of harm or benefit to you. The Hajr e Aswad is an ABOMINABLE thing to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. My criticism is the same of some Christian sects who interact with statues.
The tawaf and stone ritual was a pagan ritual practised BEFORE Muhammad but incorporated into Islam during the time of Muhammad.

Narrated by Abu Raja Al-Utaridi
[We used to worship stones, and when we found a better stone than the first one, we would throw the first one and take the latter, but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth (i.e. soil) and then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it, and perform the Tawaf around it. When the month of Rajab came, we used (to stop the military actions), calling this month the iron remover, for we used to remove and throw away the iron parts of every spear and arrow in the month of Rajab. Abu Raja' added: When the Prophet sent with (Allah's) Message, I was a boy working as a shepherd of my family camels. When we heard the news about the appearance of the Prophet, we ran to the fire, i.e. to Musailima al-Kadhdhab.]
The devious lie by some Muslims would be that the above pagan, dehumanizing, idolatrous and abominable practice of worshipping stones, shamelessly imported and transferred to the "respect" of the blackstone by Muhammad into Islam, was in fact practised by Abraham and then copied by the pagans and then repossessed by Muhammad! Phew! What a gymnastics of lies!
Muslims innocently (some deliberately) MISINTERPRET what Umar said about the stone to mean that the stone is of NO benefit or harm!
Umar, the second caliph of the Islamic movement, said, “Except I saw God’s prophet kiss the black stone, there is no possibility I would have kissed it” (Bukhari 25:83). Umar was expressing what he thought about the stone BEFORE his mind was influenced by Muhammad.
But AFTER that, he heard the BENEFIT from Muhammad! It EXPIATED sins!

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Touching them both [the Black Stone and al-Rukn al-Yamani] is an expiation for sins.”
A stone mustn't have anything to do with the forgiveness of sins!
Indeed it can BENEFIT and HARM:
In the Kanz al-Ummal skill collection, it is recorded that Ali responded to Umar, saying: “This stone (Hajar Aswad) can indeed benefit and harm. … Allah says in the Quran that he created human beings from the descendants of Adam and made them testify about themselves and asked them: ‘Am I not your creator?’ With that, everyone confirmed. So Allah wrote this confirmation. And this stone has a pair of eyes, ears and a tongue and it opened its mouth under the order of Allah, who placed that confirmation on it and ordered it to testify to all those worshipers who came to the hajj .”
Didn't Moses warn specifically about paying respect to a stone image?
"Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to BOW down unto it: for I am the LORD your God."

Muslims put a spin and say they don't worship the stone but rather they respect it. Even so, you will be surprised!
The Merriam Webster dictionary defines the word 'bow' as: "a bending of the head or body in RESPECT , submission, assent, or salutation also: a show of RESPECT or submission"
Clearly, respecting a stone is WORSHIP of it and makes this practice Idolatrous!
In your case you even go further and beyond bowing to it: you circumbulate, kiss and/or touch it religiously.
YOU: But I also respect/kiss/touch other human beings or other objects; does it mean I worship them?
ME: Do you make a pilgrimage to other human beings/object once in your life? Are they housed in the Kaaba? Do you do the tawaf (circumbulate) and do the qibla on them/it? NO!
Beloved, even if in your life time you do not travel anywhere near the Hajr e aswad but you pray towards the ABOMINATION and believe IN YOUR HEART that if you were to touch it God would forgive your sins: that is IDOLATRY which you practice from your heart.
Paying "respect" to a stone which EXPIATES SINS, by Moses' standard (and by any dictionary's definition of BOW), would be IDOLATROUS on TWO levels:
1) RESPECT:The respect God deserves, you afford to a stone.
2) EXPIATION OF SINS: The TRUE God forgives sins (and not via a stone). In a hidden kind of way, the stone is taking the role of the god. The stone becomes a visible IMAGE of the god: it even sits, not in a museum, but inside the 'house of god' (Bait-Allah)
2. Have pagans not worshipped a stone FALLEN FROM HEAVEN before? What Muslims worship is not exclusive but a repackaging of what the pagans of Ephesus worshipped because Satan keeps reinventing himself variously and in different locations as Baal, Hubal, Zues or Jupiter. Islam may appear a new form of worship but fundamentally it's not.
'And when the city clerk had quieted the crowd, he said: “Men of Ephesus, what man is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple guardian of the great goddess Diana, and of the IMAGE WHICH FELL DOWN FROM ZEUS (also known as Jupiter the god of the heavens)?

I find it really fascinating that Muslims and Christians agree that we are living in the end times! I admire the zeal Muslims have for their faith but the concern (out of love) I have with them is that they put the cart before the horse when it comes to end times prophecy and this will become terrifyingly clear by the end of these two slightly long posts as to why Muslims may unknowingly end up getting the mark of the antichrist. They want to talk about the antichrist (Al-Maseeh al-Dajjaal) but they don't know the Christ to begin with! An antichrist is one who is in opposition to or fakes the Christ. To identify a product as fake, you must know the original first! Eternity in hell is too long to be wrong about the original.
When I speak of Jesus Christ I'm not referring to Jesus (Isa) who is a misrepresentation of Jesus Christ. For example, what are Isa's teachings according to the Quran? Besides being born of the virgin Mary, performing the bird miracle and being called the Messiah, what was his MESSAGE/GOSPEL and what did he come to DO that is of importance as messiah of mankind? Nothing. If Isa is indeed the Word of God as the Quran also accepts, why would the Word of God not speak in God's holy book? If Isa spoke as Jesus does in the Gospels and the Torah, an entire religion would come tumbling down, even the final brick! But strangely prophet Isa has no voice no prophecy. So to understand the end times and the antichrist then you have to go back to basics and learn about the Christ from the Gospels: what is his GOSPEL and what did he come to DO? (ALERT! The Quran confirmed the gospels/Injeel as Allah's eternal and unalterable/incorruptible word (QS 5:43, 2:36 and QS 6:115). The message of Jesus the Son of God and his crucifixion was in the confirmed Gospels at the time of Muhammad and was there before him. It's a dilemma!)
The name Jesus/Yeshua means salvation. His gospel? He came declaring himself the Son of God and preaching the message of repentance and salvation. What did he DO? He offered himself as a sacrifice once and for all for the salvation of mankind. This is the Christ.
Muslims will be one of many groups who will be easy to deceive into worshiping the Antichrist/Beast and receiving its mark because the god of this world, who rejects the crucifixion by saying he made it appear like they killed Jesus, has put a veil in their minds and a spirit in their hearts so as to find disgust (instead of amazing grace) in the gospel of the Lamb of God who became a curse on the cross for us inorder to bring into effect the Covenant of grace and pay the penalty of sin and save many. Do you know why Jesus was born sinless (of a virgin) in a MANGER (a place where in Jewish history the best lambs were placed for sacrifice)? Do you know why he remained without sin/spot? Do you know that a blood sacrifice was REQUIRED to bring into effect the Covenant of Law Moses? Do that without the shedding of blood in the temple there was no atonement of sins? Jesus Christ was that spotless lamb born in a manger and a better sacrifice for things in heaven to make effective the Covenant of Grace.

The denial of the crucifixion of the 'Son of the Most High' is what Islam teaches. IF YOU DENY THIS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT IS ALREADY IN YOU.
"Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also." I John 2:22-23)
"Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
1 John 4:2-3 KJV
These above verses were written almost 600 years before the Islam would arise, suspiciously through an angel called Gebreel,to deny the gospel of Christ! How ironic! Is this the same angel, Gabriel, who told Mary she would have a son and he shall be called 'the Son of the Most High' (Luke 1:32) but half a century later he forgets and says Allah is father to no one?
[We know (through Sahih Hadiths of Bukhari volume 2, number 111) that when Muhammad began receiving revelations from Gebreel, his first impression was that he was demon-possessed (Jinn). We also know that after his experience in the cave, he became suicidal and tried to hurl himself off a cliff. Muhammad’s wife Khadijah and her cousin Waraqah-people who weren’t with him in the cave and had no idea what he experienced-eventually persuaded him that he wasn’t possessed.]
What Muslims perhaps are not aware of is that Iblis/Shayatin (Satan) has, from the time he was cast down, desires to exalt himself above God and be worshipped as/like God as is recorded by the prophet Isaiah:
[And you said to yourself, 'To the heavens will I ascend, above God's stars will I raise my throne, and I will sit on the mount of the assembly, in the farthest end of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will liken myself to the Most High.']

It is not surprising that Satan has disguised himself as a God of righteousness (by inventing a new religion, which misrepresents and contradicts previous historical accounts and figures in the Torah and Gospels using the claim of a' final revelation') while teaching salvation through righteousness by works of the lawbut denying the one and only saving truth for mankind:THAT CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD CRUCIFIED ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SALVATION.
"And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds."
