Thunder were the best team(although young), and Mavs beat them and the Timberwolves… People were saying the WCF was Timberwolves vs Nuggets. No the fuck it wasn’t. It was Mavs vs Thunder.
To me one of the biggest losers and embarrassment franchise everyone refuses to admit is the Milwaukee bucks. They gutted their team identity of defense for an aging offense only pg on a supermax deal that also cost them all future flexibility. They then fired a promising young coach to bring in an old tread who blames everyone but himself who led the team to an UNDER 500 record. They have no youth no flexibility Middleton and Lopez are on the downswing dame is way down and giannis will start losing a step. Oh and for a second straight year we're a first round exit. This team is done
The Adrian Griffin situation honestly reminded me a bit of Joe Mazzulla's last year. A definitely promising coach was thrust into the squad as essentially a sort of panic filled last-minute replacement and fresh off the heels of a playoffs where they felt they should have made it all the way, had immense pressure put on their shoulders right from the get go. The only difference was Brad knew what he was doing and was adamant on seeing his vision through, Bucks don't have a clue in the world about where their situation lies.
So there’s no mavs on the winner category? The Mavs were projected to be in the play-in at the start of this season and ended up going to the finals by beating three 50+ win teams including the first seed. That’s a win in my books
As a Heat fan I’d say us, could’ve made a number of moves similar to the Celtics to put us into contention but due to stubbornness ran it back and watched a rival win it all essentially because we refused to make trades. Could’ve gotten Jrue, porzingis, dame, etc… but didn’t

The Blazers are such losers these last couple of years that they are even overlooked for 'biggest losers of the year' type videos, probably just due to being completely forgotten about. No Blazers discussion happens anywhere on the media, on TH-cam, anywhere. They are beyond no man's land- they are in no memory land. Crazy seeing all the former Blazers who did nothing in Portland do well this year elsewhere. Derrick Jones Jr goes from bench warmer for Portland to starter for a Finals team (Portland gave up Jones AND a first round draft pick for freaking Larry Nance Jr-> what?!). Josh Hart they traded away for Cam Reddish (who they got rid of for nothing) and he was core to the Knicks playoff run. Back when they got rid of Mccollum for nothing a couple years ago, besides Hart, the only only decent player they got back was Nickeal Alexander Walker, who was great for the T'wolves in their playoff run this year (and, might I add, he is exactly the kind of player the Blazers could genuinely use). They had traded him for Joe Ingles who never played a single game for the team before going away in free agency. Jrue Holiday was even on the Blazers this past off season for a bit and he's done amazing. So many former Blazers do so much better when they aren't on Portland!
