Battling glider butterflies newly emerged from pupae

Battling Glider butterflies newly emerged from the pupa, expanding their wings and also coiling and recoiling the two parts of the proboscis in order to fuse the two parts together. Also flapping their wings prior to flying for the first time. Filmed in a suburban garden in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
