Echo Azure Butterfly

Butterflies commonly forage for salts and other minerals as when you see them on paths or rocks. This quite tiny member of the Blues family very elegantly shows us how it's done. Watch the proboscis at work, and then the two antennae sensing aromas - perhaps pheromones from other butterflies, possibly mates. Also observe those enormous compound eyes.
