April is honestly amazing; you going second and breaking broads. Even when the odds are stacked against you’ve gone through the lines to play/win. 🎉❤ Kudos to you. The last game was calculated as heck! I was laughing too hard!📈💶🤣
These videos are so helpful. I started playing Master Duel earlier this year with no clue about what modern yugioh was like and was trying to play Blue eyes for the childhood memories lol. After a while I tried playing a meta deck and branded reminded me of blue eyes a little with all cool dragon monsters 😂 Anyways these kind of videos and your branded guide helped get me started and I finally reached Master 1 recently 🙌 Thanks for sharing the knowledge and making these videos!
Watching these games, you make branded look broken. Well played and congrats! Also was wondering what your reasoning was for the Nadir servants and the 1 copy of maximus in decklist; I know that Nadir can search get quem and Maximus can guarantee end phase setup to play on opponent's turn, but is the lock out of extra deck really worth it? How important are they, and would you ever consider anything else over those 3 cards?
they are always usable after you are done summoning from the extra. i think they are great. its also important to have enough starters. nadir can play on its own if you haave nothing else
@@AprilShowerz yea after some testing on ladder I really like Nadir in particular cos quem gives so many points of interaction. Quem and pass is a godsend if you have no other starters for sure. I don't know how/when to use maximus though, is it just if you have Nadir as your only starter?
@@johnsonjohnsonson2410 with just nadir you would never go for quem and pass. you should get maximus and send garura with nadir. Then sending titaniklad gets you quem anyway, but also albion for branded in red.
@@AprilShowerz okay, that makes sense, I think I'm just scared of sending extra deck stuff because I've played into a decent amount of decks that have punished me on the Maximus send; backrow decks and Lab especially are matchups I rly struggle with and giving them the opportunity to play is scary. Any tips on those matchups? Bystials can be kinda nice but rivalry of warlords and other floodgates feel so hard to out/play around.
I'm also against puppet lock, but it's r-ace,so more than justified. Also, I liked how you owned that SE player, tho the person was kind of bricked. Anyways, keep it up!
Hi April. In your branded guide, you said puppet lock isn't worth it because of the additional brick. Do you still believe that, or do you think having the option is worth running the puppet?
In fact, I played branded a lot. Gimm lock gives you an immediate win against 90% of the decks if you do, but it requires you to play and combo in the first place, and if you are able to do that in the first place, the branded end board is very strong on its own. Yes, it does not give you a direct win, but it is strong to win against anything, but unlike pure branded end board , gimm lock loses against called by and byst, and if your opponent is able to stop the gimm lock, your board will be much weaker than usual. In any case, I do not recommend it because it is toxic and not a beautiful way to win. As April said, it is really not necessary. I advise you to play cards that make you play around ash or going second cards. This is better 🥲
its needed to beat race and snake. you dont need it in smaller builds to win, but you dont really have a way to beat snake eye's turn 3. so you play it for going 2nd in those matchups. and then whenever you can set up a puppet lock under branded lost window on your first turn it is always worth doing it.
Have you tried droplet for branded? I feel like it's a really good board breaker and you can chain it to spell or monster activation and send your first activated spell to the graveyard, and your opponent can't respond to it with monster or spell if you send 1 monster and 1 spell
its pretty random. you are not happy about the matchup. but puppet makes it okay. usually you are just hoping your opponent doesnt draw imperm or called by, since those are the strongest cards against you.
queritis is much better than lulu. reducing the attack is better for surviving an otk. and queritis can make otks going 2nd. its also an actual fusion monster than can be summoned sometimes.
i think limit flamberge to 1 is better, the deck stil playable but so much easier to break just ban that only flamberge and the decks ends. Also nib will works really well going second

The amount of GY disruptions in the Top 4 game 2 duel was insane. You did amazing regardless!
See that? That's why I always bring Masquerade The Tax Dragon to my decklist
Nooo, you were supposed to fight against them not join them 😭 (But im glad you are having fun)
What a simp! (Im too)
It's necessary evil lol
Loved the Masquerade play at the end

do not be afraid. the puppet does not bite
There should be bystials that banish enemy fire monsters as a quick effect, those fire monsters are getting out of hand
i think dd crow is already a option, and you can play 3
I cheered for you, but cried for Scar😔
Seriously though, awesome job! They really should rename this even Snake-Eyes cup😅😂

It currently needed honestly,i too don't like it but i have no choice with current format and decide to use it
Thanks for the clarity April and friends 🧡

Somehow I think you should be able to win if you swap crossout, ash, and 1 keeper for 3 droplet
i am playing droplet in my recommended built. wasnt playing it this tournament but in general it is pretty good.@@yonathan4194
@@AprilShowerzhi April, big fan, thanks for the reply. Why are you not using droplet? Of course I'm not nearly as good as you in YGO.
i didnt want to. Im not sure whether its better or not, but its good in theory which is why i recommend it right now.@@yonathan4194
I just hope that the fire nation get extinguished by the ban list anytime soon
Best of luck april!!!
You opened grass HOW many times!!!?
im just like abo fr fr
Which version of branded do you think is better on ranked right now 60 or 40?
60
@@AprilShowerz thanks
Top 4 vs bystial snake eyes, that snake purposely bring lots of grave disruption just to counter branded....
yes. thats what happens in challenger cup since theres no decklist submission
How can you show your opponent hands?
replays from duel rooms always show
How is branded against snake eyes?

"Branded is not as good as it used to be"... say it ain't so T-T
May i see ur deck list?
Its at the end of the vid
did you just face someone from your own team in the first match? xD
yes! i got the win in time, which is why the match looked like it ended early.
Just ban Diabellstar so that we can move on, even if you ash the sinful broken sheet they get a free draw unbelievable
i also wish for big snake hits
Ban Flameberge and Popar is big hit,or at least if Konami don't want to hit UR cards then ban Oak is also a good hit
banning poplar is enough to send snake eye to unplayable at top level.@@ferdyoktav
@@ferdyoktav some decks are prehit before coming to MD but this deck came full power, even Kitkalos was limited but tbh it did nothing lmao
