I'm completely happy with my (discontinued) Mavic 3. I don't need the x3 telephoto lens. I'd be more likely to buy the wide angles lens. The weight of the M3 Pro would cause me some issues here in Ireland. I was amazed the original Mavic 3 eventually got classified in the least restricted category in the EU. So I'm just grateful to have that combination of drone specification and freedom of flying locations.
Still no SDK on any of the Mavic3 models. So, I'm still really disappointed when it was actually promised, and not followed through with. Great drone though.
What permissions did you have to get to fly in the Sunshine Coast Airport Controlled airspace for the Point Cartwright shots and how did you get that permission? ie who do I contact to get that permission?
Many thanks for sharing Dan; yes, its an amazing piece of kit however the original Mavic 3 is still a formidable option!; still have mine and you can replicate the 70mm Camera with a bit of trickery !!!

Yeah totally agree, love my Mavic3pro, that 7x lens is such an improvement from the 3x lens on the original Mavic3

I was flying outside of the controlled aerodromes. I was using my zoom lens for most shots. You can request flights though the DJI app.
